Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
Man ESPN is all over the Warriors...don't really blame them tbh because they are what they are but come on now...we all laughed at the Heat index that barely gets updated of at all anymore since Bron left and we gonna act like the Everything Steph page isn't equally ridiculous....why? lol
Like 23 said though....it's ESPN so it really doesn't matter at the end of the day...
But yeah, ESPN sucks.Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
He's been awful this year. He's a shell of the player he was last year.
It's too bad. If Mozgov was even 75 percent of the player he was last year, the Cavs chances in this series would have increased dramatically imoComment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
I think that since Lebron went to the Heat alot of people gave up on ESPN. They've lost alot of popularity over the past six years. Plus, the Heat were the "villains" of the league. I dont think anyone really thinks of the Warriors as a villain (except for maybe Draymond) they're just a really, really good team.
But yeah, ESPN sucks.Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
ESPN will always cover the hot/popular team of the moment. Been like that for years.
Did it with the Lakers, Celtics, Patriots, Red Sox, Giants, Packers, Bama, Ohio St, UNC, dook. And if/when Cleveland wins it this year, they'll get that treatment as well, even though they already have due to the Lebron Factor.#RespectTheCultureComment

How did this turn into a ESPN thread? Lol. Any way Sunday's game will be Intersting to see. I am sure Klay and Curry will be better.Comment

Re: The Finals: Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Golden St. Warriors Part 2
They did post game stuff?
It definitely wasn't them covering the game after it was over. ABC switched to regular programming and SportsCenter took over.
I knew it would be a mistake but I was hoping those guys would be there or that it would mostly be interviews. The latter happened but the guys speaking were dimwitted.
Usually they have a short talk with the guys who did the game, which would include SVG.Comment

Once ABC cut the programming, I changed it over, listened to five minutes of garbage and turned it off."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

That image of LeBron sitting on the bench in the 4th, wondering what everyone was doing, and then dropping his head into his hands while possibly contemplating what another failed championship run might be like, is real.
Maybe they turn it around but his reaction reminds me of me on nearly every summer team I've played on with guys not giving a crap on D and ignoring the basics of basketball enroute to another loss."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. So the characters are all wrong cause we know Deebo is Lue and all. However, that aside, funny vid.
