Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer did a piece on upcoming free agency and in regards to SG JJ Reddick, the Sixers and Nets will make a hard push at him this offseason according to people around the league he's spoken with.

1. I know he hasn't spoke with anyone on the Nets because Marks and the rest of FO have been real quiet in regards to moves they make since they got here.

2. We got enough guys that can play the 2 or 3, so while I would like to have him, cost is an issue for me because of the fact he's 33 and looking for one last pay day. I know he has an apartment in Brooklyn but I'm not crazy about paying a 33 year old $22+ Mil.

I do think we'll be active in going after RFA again this offseason.

late on the 3 team trade rumor considering it's already dead. But I'm not sure why Denver wants to have to the worst defensive team off all time though Jokic+Love is fire.

also I'm sure the way to beat GSW is to acquire another big that gets exposed on PNR and provides no shooting.

This is a dumb question. But did you watch him play? They went to Kevin Love in the post way more than ever. He usually started the game getting touches down low. So I don't see what you mean by expanding. I love PG. But he isn't going to change much in my opinion.

Yeah I can see it that way, I just meant if he went back to the way he played in Minnesota. I just would like to see him as a 2nd option.
But I think the small ball era hurts PFs like him. Mainly on the defensive end.

So I'm hearing that the Bulls and Celtics didn't engage in trade talks about Butler on draft day because the Bulls never called the Celtics. If there's any truth to that....

That doesn't surprise me in the least. I don't think anything would've gotten done because Ainge said that MIN gave up too much. But you still have to call. So inept.

I have seen numerous conflicting reports surround Butler/Celtics trade talks. Glad for them to be finally over with.
