Neither did the Thunder. How'd that work out for them? Little different circumstance yes, but nothing is off limits in this league any more clearly

He wants a bigger role? Your no defense having *** had a bigger role. You got us no playoffs in 3 years. It's cool if he doesn't wanna be here but what he wants, he already failed at.

ESPN Sources: On Kyrie Irving front, Cavs were given four preferred landing spots: New York, Miami, San Antonio, Minnesota.

... Miami lol. Déja vertigo. Crazy crazy crazy.

Besides the Spurs, he named NY, Miami or Minnesota.

Well he could reach all those destinations without falling off the edge of the earth.

If I was GM, I'm asking for every draft pick you have for the next 3-4 years AND your 2-3 best players on your team.

I'm giving up a guaranteed Finals Ticket(and also a LOT of money from a Business perspective) for mediocrity? You damn right I'll ask for that and I might not stop there either.

You got a team with Lebron James, that's a guarantee NBA Finals trip every year, and it's players telling you NOT to come? They know what's up with next year and now Kyrie has as well.

Golden State got the whole league shook. Like they're 50 Cent and the rest of the NBA is Ja Rule back in 2002.

OT but just want to point out that fool 50 didn't have nobody shook. He was just smart and took advantage of timing and some cockiness by Ja

This is what I love about the NBA off-season. You never know what's going to happen. Never did I see this coming.

What stumps me is the "bigger role" comment. They literally let him do whatever he wants when he has the ball, LeBron included. The dude will try to cross his man 4 or 5 times before shooting and is likely the league leader in half court dribbles. He's one of only like 4 players to take 20 shots a night last year. How much more usage can you possibly get when all you're a threat to do is dribble and shoot? Even Westbrook, Harden are making twice as many plays for other players. Does this dude just really want to be the ultimate ball-hog type of player? Go be a worse version of Iverson/Kobe somewhere? And he thinks that will fly with Pop? lol

Miami is the only team who can give back a decent enough trade. Dragic, Whiteside or something along those lines.

You would think Lebron would net a great package. However it's one year of Lebron. Also need to factor in that Lebron would be dumb to go to a team he actually wants to play for long term and totally gut the team before he gets there. ****ty situation for the Cavs. Gilbert though.

If Lebron leaves, then Kyrie will become the focal point anyway and will also make the most money, which is what I don't get. Does Kyrie think LBJ will stay or leave? I think the front office is playing just as big if not a bigger role than his relationship with LBJ.

One year of LeBron for Brooklyn fans would change everything for that franchise. They should probably trade their 2018 1st to get him.

                                Ah, crap.

Seriously though, this is just generally insane.
