Look at King here comparing this **** to LeBron trying to get PG or Kawhi on his team. Like it’s the same as a 73 win team replacing Harrison Barnes and Pchulia with freaking Kevin Durant and Cousins..

I ain’t mad at them, if you can do it do it. But you’re full of **** if you think either situation is remotely the same. Like a lot of **** too.

Of course here comes OJ with the "but that was different though..." mess. Go somewhere with that OJ. The elite teams in the league are playing on a different level from the rest of us man. It's an arms race and Golden State is mopping the floor with them. It's the same thing LeBron has been trying to do. It's the same thing that EVERY team in the league would do in their situation but we gotta sit through all this whining because they're pulling their moves off? If they'd have replaced JaVale with Dwight Howard dudes would have STILL been bitching about the league being a joke even though everybody has been clowning Dwight as trash since 2011.

After I calmed down a little. He has the injury that basically ended Elton Brand's career and one of the best cases scenarios was Wes Matthews and he's 6-11 270.

but still It's 5.3 mill that's it. 60% is still likely to bring them value i think.

But I also know for a fact that neither of them are done making moves because again...Day 2. Probably means that Dwight will be a Wizard since his two choices have filled their need or didn’t want him in the first place.
I've been waiting with you to see what they're going to do, especially in the middle.

I know it's been jokes about available centers but for real... I'm just looking for movement from other teams, not just continuing to hear people complaining about the Warriors again.

This would not include players already on the roster. So if the limit is 3, you don't have to do anything if a fourth develops from your own roster. But once you have 3, you can't trade or sign an existing former All Star.

Until then LOL. Go Warriors? I can't wait to hear Breen say, "Curry goes to his right, dishes it to Green. Green to Thompson, pump fakes, passes it to Cousins in the post. 7 on the clock. Cousins spins, finds Curry in the corner, the extra pass to Durant for three! BANG!

I disagree with that on principle. That would be swinging the pendulum in the other direction and I'm opposed to that.

Dudes were just actively rooting for LeBron to superteam up with Kawhi and Paul George and that young core in LA so LeBron can chill on defense while Kawhi locks people up and just nuke them offensively with all this extra energy. Or LeBron get together with Kawhi and Boogie or head to Philadelphia to stack up with them. Boston over there building that damn monster they got over there is all well and good. But Golden State is supposed to just sit around and let it happen? People complaining talking about the NBA being garbage because the same team is winning every year, but dudes are actively rooting for the brother that's been in the NBA Finals for close to a decade straight to KEEP going and rooting for him to win once he gets there. C'mon son.
The only people that were rooting for that were LeBron fans, Lakers fans, and people sick of the Warriors' domination. The Warriors already are a superteam, they've won 3/4 NBA titles and they just got the best or 2nd best C in the league as a year rental. They don't need anyone else but the rich get richer.

People clamoring for LeBron teaming up with Kawhi + PG was to be able to challenge GS. Can't be that f'n team without another superteam, and now idk how you even describe them; Monstar team? Super Duper team? What's the next level?

The possibility of a LeBron/Kawhi/Boogie or whatever team made it interesting to see if they could challenge GS' throne. There is literally no counter for this Boogie to GS move. Check f'n mate, it's a wrap.

I told folks back in 2011 and after the last CBA, to let teams spend whatever they want. Treat it like Soccer basically and make it a free for all.

But we know the small market teams wouldn’t go for that because it would pretty much kill them off since they couldn’t compete financially with the bigger markets.

Institute a true hard cap, get rid of all this complicated BS wth exceptions and Bird Rights, and kill player max limits. Teams can spend as much as they want on a single player. Let these dudes earn what they're worth.

Getting Cousins was far fetched this year anyway. No cap space and no reports of trade talks regarding the relevant players (Porter, Mahinmi). And even if they did have the room, I can understand the hesitation behind giving him a max contract after his injury.

Like someone else said, Cousins actually made a brilliant move.

Look at it this way, we can use this season to see where he is at and then prepare a run next year.

Im not saying I want that. I'm saying other people apparently do because they are sick of what they are seeing. So they need to decide.

Also, someone else mentioned a hard cap and it doesn't solve the issue. Players will find a way around a hard cap. Owners thought the salary cap would limit this but players are using the rules to their advantage.

A hard cap makes it harder but players will find a way.
