I’m just going by what you and 45 have been telling us, man.

Media is the enemy and they can’t be trusted. Fake News, right?

If that's double speak for "you don't believe it" then ok.

I'd normally agree but the Warriors have won 3 titles b/c of their death lineup. I mean Curry/Klay/KD/Draymond/Boogie would probably outscore you but Boogie especially coming from an achilles rupture is the clear defensive liability against smaller teams with that lineup, so I'm sure the Dubs would rather use their lineup with Iggy that has won them 3 titles.

My point is I take that article with a very small grain of salt because it makes it seem like he’ll be coming off the bench and be nothing more than a 6th man.

Obviously he’s not going to be a starter right away coming back from a serious injury like this and not to mention, getting his conditioning up to par(always been talked about since he got into the league and yet he still held his own defensively)but it’d be very naive to think that he’ll be coming off the bench all year long.

It’s July so of course silly articles like this will get written, lol.

            Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread

            Marc Stein confirms the truth:

So back in April the Pelicans offered Boogie 2 yrs/$40 mil and HE turned it down, betting on himself in FA. Pels pulled that offer and once he didn't get any other "significant" offers, he basically panicked and called the Dubs up. The problem is he tried to play it off with this victim bull**** that he got zero offers, which wasn't true. A Showtime camera crew was even there and filmed his call to the Dubs...like what's that about? https://streamable.com/cbqdn

Basically he tried to be slick and it backfired. He turned down $40 million coming off a major injury, so not sure how anyone would actually feel sorry for him, if anyone did at all.

Why didn’t he wait longer anyway? Dude gave free agency 2 days before “panicking”?

Devin Booker is a big talent but there’s not a chance in hell he’s worth $158M at 21.

Gonna need to see some defense and regular season success before I can justify that deal.

Phoenix had to do it, though.

The booker signing also eats about 15 million of their cap room for next year

Serious question, what do you offer him then? Sure his defense is a work in progress but a 21 year old who just put up 25/4.5/4.7 in less than 36 mpg what is a fair offer? Wiggins just got 150 million for being literally the same player if not markedly worse.

                        Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread

So just to be clear, NO offered Cousins a 2 year deal back in April, but we heard absolutely NOTHING about it, even though he was clearly pissed off about it and has NEVER been afraid of voicing his displeasure with something until today, July 3rd after he said he hadn't gotten any offers in free agency and that makes him a liar trying to get sympathy? The internet is too funny man.

So he tried to be slick and should have took the Pelicans offer because he's coming off injury even though two days ago missing out on Paul George was cool for the Lakers because they could just go get DeMarcus Cousins to pair with LeBron and Kawhi even though nobody was talking about paying him a reduced salary or a short term contract or anything less than a max deal. The season may as well not even be played and we need to institute a hard cap and change the CBA and all this other bull**** because he signed with the Warriors, but wanting a big contract is absurd because he's coming off injury? I can't with this stuff man lmao

That's unfair. Dwight can't touch Gortat when it comes to the moving screen.
