    Re: 2018 Off-Season Thread

I really feel bad my man IT. I seriously doubt that he's ever going to get that one big contract now, especially at his age and with his limitations. I'm hoping that he plays well next season and maybe someone will at least throw him a bone and give him a fat one-year deal like KCP or Redick got last season.

Knowing that guys like Deng, Mozgov, and Mahinmi make more in two seasons that IT has made in his entire career just doesn't sit right with me. I guess that's how it goes. I still feel for the little guy though.

I think IT can get some of his mojo back this season (Assuming his hip injury is healed).

Thinking about the pick and roll, pick and pop, and handoff shenanigans he could pull off with Jokic is intriguing.

The only question left to answer is is he going to get any time playing with Joker at all or is it going to be a one man 6th man unit and attempting to do that with Mason Plumlee?

With a few exceptions(that usually backfires on the player) most players don't start going that 1 year route by choice, until after they've made 100 plus million in their career. That way if they have the grave misfortune of getting a Shaun Livingston like injury, they and their future generations are still comfortable set for life.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

We were going to do that with him and Russell but those plans went out the window on opening night.

the more i think about it, the more sense it makes to start young at the point and lin at the 2. would take some of the responsibilities off of young and let him have more catch and shoot looks.

Lin and Kemba playing together in Charlotte was pretty decent.

The 2nd round pick the hawks get looks like it will be 2025 SO hopefully I'll still be alive to see the pick being made. Basically the hawks used most their cap space to bring in a player to help them win instead of getting a draft pick .

                    Good read on the trade

I'll never how how/why teams are allowed to trade draft picks so far in advance. lol, 2025. So the Hawks will be drafting some kid who's in middle school right now, perhaps hasn't even played basketball yet in his life.

Schroeder’s legal issues aren’t as big as everyone is making them out to be and the charges are expected to be lowered.

Yea your looking at something along the lines of Solomon hill got Dennis.

The Houston Rockets have emerged as strong frontrunners to acquire Carmelo Anthony once he is free from Oklahoma City, league sources tell Yahoo. Anthony also has considered Miami.
