I think the EC will surprise some people this year. I think Boston, Indiana, Milkwaukee, Philly, and Toronto will be as good as just about any team in the West outside of GS. That’s 5 teams right there.

The bottom 3 may be a bit “up in the air” but just LeBron leaving doesn’t really change a whole lot. Chicago I think can definitely be a playoff team. Washington and Miami are both teams that are going to win 40 games, if Washington is healthy they could/should be up there with the first 5 teams I named. It’ll be teams like Cleveland and Detroit fighting around that 9 seed spot.

The East really isn’t that bad. In fact just about every playoff-level team theoretically should be better. It’s just the Cavs are out.

Idk if I should’ve posted this in the summer league thread but Donovan Mitchell and Grayson Allen are going to be very fun to watch for the next couple of years.

Well we already know that's a lock. Saw it in summer league.

You forgetting about Houston or you really think they're gonna fall down a level just because they lost f'n Ariza and Mbah A Moute? Lol come on man.

Boston may be the only legit NBA title contender, Philly is likely still not there yet and everyone else is a pretender. All the stars are in the WC now and it looks like most WC playoff teams also got better, other than Houston for now (and maybe Minnesota/SA). Then you got the Lakers and Nuggets who will almost certainly make the playoffs as well, likely bumping out 2 of last year's playoff teams and then once again creating the controversy of 1-16 playoffs because there will be 48 win teams in the WC out of the playoffs and 40-42-44 win teams in the playoffs in the EC.

Jazz are definitely one of my League Pass automatics.

Have to watch them whenever possible.

Switching the 1-16 would have only literally added one different team to the mix last year. It’s not that big of a difference.

And I’m not talking about the West teams. I’m saying the East teams don’t suck. I’m not even talking about title contenders. And I don’t think Houston is really above Boston nor were they last year if Boston was healthy. They just happen to match up really well with Golden State.

Grayson Allen and “fun to watch” should not be in the same sentence.

I think it depends what we get from him. As far as his talent and athletic ability he fits the bill of what a fun player would be. He's just such a jackass. We'll see how much of that carries into the league, I don't mind that type of stuff personally. If you're someone who doesn't mind the stuff Dray, JR, and Lance and those guys are always up to I think he'll be someone you'd enjoy to watch.

I find it hilarious that's hes kept the same exact annoying energy coming into the league. Took him 2 games to get under someone's skin....

Mitchell Robinson already fired his agent, mainly due to the agent's decision to have Robinson skip the combine.
