Then having picks 19, 30 and 34 so a lot of options with trades and stuff with those picks. Then we have cap space to take on a bad contract to add another draft pick which should be the move since no elite FA is coming to atlanta this offseason. Still I have a feeling we will somehow find a way to screw this up
I kind of feel like we're in a no lose situation. Take the best of who's left between Doncic or Bagley. I still can't see the Kings passing on Doncic. I wouldn't be opposed to taking on Parsons crap contract for that 4th pick as well. Ain't nobody coming to Atlanta any time soon, anyway. May as well stock up on young talent and build organically.

The faired contract for the 14th pick that rumor seems to be pick up stream and that's a no brainer If that offer is really on the table.

Its a tough call between Doncic, Bagley and Jackson you can't go wrong with either of them. Young is the person I really don't want so hopefully that's just rumors.

If you can get the 4th pick for taking on parsons contract I would take that also even if you have to give up something in return. As long as Young isn't one of the people you draft so Doncic at 3 and one of the bigs at 4 is perfect for me.

They are so many awful contracts out so I would start with trying to get the guys with only 1 year on remaining like Faried, Bayless, suns players etc that way you flip them for contracts at the deadline that last 1 more year and load up on some more draft picks.

Spurs Rudy Gay opting out of his final year of his contract with the Spurs: http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/2...-antonio-spurs

In my opinion Gay is making a big mistake unless he's wanting to go to a definitive Championship caliber team. He's not going to get paid($8.8 million) what he was going to be making in that last year of his contract with the Spurs. He has lost a lot of skillset & doesn't bring nowhere near the punch he did when he originally signed with the Spurs.

2016 free agency was wild. Those Deng and Noah contracts are terrible no matter what the cap is. To the draft, it depends for me. If Doncic is available, we take him. If we're able to get 4 then take the big in Jackson. I was (and still am) big on Porter but his health just scares me now. If Bagley is available at 3, we take him. If we're able to get 4 then I wouldn't mind taking a flier on Young or Sexton. Bagley/Young or Doncic/Jackson. I think either along with Collins is a decent enough young core to build around.

Raptors looking to get a top 10 pick to draft Alexander. Nobody off the table in trade talks.

Hey Knicks, still want Lowry? Lol.

76ers would be team Lowry would most want to go to.

Yeah something tells me the 6ers are good on point guards.

Getting a lottery pick PG from your city would be great. If they actually could deal Lowry to get that pick and Alexander ends up being better than Lowry, that could change their future for sure.

Why would they want that contract anyway?

They’d be better off keeping Fultz.

I don't see a team that would give up a top 10 pick and take back Lowry even if they traded a bad contract like Noah or Thompson. The 76ers shouldn't be that desperate to dump the Bayless contract and wouldn't take back the $ till after FA.

He played in 57 games with limited minutes, so no he wasn't injured "half the time" or because "that medical staff tho."

                            Nice trolling attempt tho....

Anyway, good for Gay and the Spurs. S.A. isn't a title contender and Rudy is better off finding a bigger role on Houston, Cleveland (if LeBron returns) or possibly Toronto (they could use another veteran off the bench, IMO).

Now, the team needs Danny to also opt out and move on to "greener pastures." Hopefully, they make a big splash by dumping broken Kawhi on to another team.

That’s just Masai leaking something to the media to appease Raptors fans into thinking he’s really doing something big to shakeup the team after that lackluster coaching search and hire. Nobody in possession of a top 10 pick in this draft will (nor should they) trade said pick for anything on the Raptors roster. The Raptors are in the unfortunate for them spot where they have useless talent honestly. Their best trade chips are too old for the majority of the teams in the top 10 range and their playoff resumes make them even less appealing to trade for even if they wanted to roll the dice. While they’re too old and not good enough for the few teams who might have a top 10 pick but a more ready to compete roster like Philly and Cleveland (if LeBron stays, which they won’t know until AFTER the draft, which makes even less sense to trade a top 10 for any of them).
