How is it true when they had already had a meeting scheduled for this day?

Spurs writers have been beating Woj to the punch...probably doing too many ESPN day shows to be plugged in like he used to, lol

Woj: Charlotte is finalizing a deal to send Dwight Howard to the Brooklyn Nets for Timofey Mozgov, league sources tell ESPN. Nets will save $17M on deal in 2019-20 season, allowing them to create two max salary slots.

Shams: Sources: Charlotte traded Dwight Howard to Brooklyn for Timofey Mozgov, two second-rounders and cash considerations.

Pack finally got Dwight. I mean it's like 6 or 7 years too late but better late than never?

I cant think of a legitimate reason this makes sense for Charlotte so I'm going with the theory that Mitch can't live without Mozgov on his team.

Beyond sick of the Nets making decent moves. Keep those Boston feeders in last place.

Charlotte doesn't have to pay the luxury tax for a bad team now, clears minutes for Zeller/Frank, and gets them a couple 2nd round picks. It's still not really a good trade, but that's the rationale behind it for them.

Solely to get rid of Duhwight and his locker-room-cancer self. Guy can't stay in one place for consecutive years, there's got to be a valid reason for that.

Nets in 2019 have so much cap space. 15M from Carroll expiring, 12.5M from Lin expiring, and now no more Mozgov for 2019 either.

The big question, which FAs are they gonna look at? Kemba Walker, Kyrie Irving are 2 of the biggest names. And depending what happens this year, there's a chance guys sign 1 year deals like Lebron, Durant, George.

Came here specifically to see Pack’s reaction. Disappointed there isn’t one. So naturally he’s either dead from excitement of finally getting Duhwight late as hell, or he’s dead from disappointment that he’s gonna have to fake like him like he does Jeremy Lin cause he’s with the Nets now. There’s no in between, don’t @ me lol
