I'll say this about Zion, he could very easily foul out of every game with his play style assuming he doesn't adjust or change it up some.

Blocking fouls in my opinion. NCAA calls it so different. Dude has a shoulder in his chest. And if he flops. Automatic charge. That last bucket could of easily been a charge. Dude flopped too early though lol

Nope... The league has moved always from the super tall dude. No skills no NBA. Unless he started shooting 3's. Only way he makes it in the league.

Question for you guys. If you had the number 10 pick. And your team needed a guard. And you had between Ty Jerome or Coby White? Who do you take?

I have to say I enjoy watching NCAA games where offense in the post still exists.

There is no way I consider Tacko Fall post play. In the NBA. He could not just stand there in paint and wait on players. And he shoots terrible from the FT.

Look at Grant Williams at UT. I don't look at him as a big NBA prospect but I have become more appreciative watching a player with good post moves...drop step, face moves 15 feet out, spins, up-and-under, turnaround J...

But Grant Williams has so much skills in comparison. Someone will take a chance on Tacko. But it won't be in the NBA.

Especially when you have players like this entering the league

Yeah, same for Lebron over his career if not for bias.

I never thought I'd say this, but we have reached a point where I'm most confident in Zion shooting a 3 over anyone else on the team. What an strange/interesting development.

Since the turn of the new year(not season), he is shooting 40% from 3 (2.4 attempts per game) and has upped his total season 3 point percentage to 33%.

His jumper was never bad. I've watched enough video of him. And teams are playing so for off. He has a lot confidence in his spot up game. He also has a nice mid range jumper at the free throw line.

....But I've said all this already.

Zion just needs to get to the 33-35% range from deep so he's a threat. He shoots the ball at the rim instead of up and through it. He doesn't get underneath the ball and push up from the bottom. A lot of shots are on target, they're short or don't have enough arc.

One of my favorite shooting tips is to imagine you're in a phone booth with no roof and you have to shoot the ball up and out of the booth. Zion could really use drills to reinforce that. His feet/hips/shoulders are all fine (which is nothing to scoff at), he just has to work on getting underneath the ball.

Nice to see Reddish have a decent scoring game yesterday, despite starting off with an all-glass 3PA. Couple bad turnovers as usual. Ho-hum game for Barrett. 4/12 inside the arc but he sure came up clutch. Tacko has no chance at the NBA. He's a bigger, slower, less-coordinated, less-skilled Thabeet.

I doubt Tacko is in any denial about his NBA chances at this point. He’s 23, a four year college player and nobody really expects him to be drafted. He could make a career in a foreign league just by being a big dude who can rebound and score on putbacks but I think he can hang his hat on everything he does off the court. He seems like a smart young dude and he could be an asset to somebody, just not as an athlete.

If somehow he does make a career in basketball, maybe even in the G league, it’s still a better paying job than most.
