This is what I've mentioned. The system in the NBA put in to combat tanking will lead to more tanking. You just rewarded two teams with ****e--but better than before--odds. Now nearly every team on the fence of the playoffs is going to tank from March 1 on. I don't think a Rookie even as good as Zion is gonna convince AD to stay we'll see. the team this hurts the most is probably the Knicks because they really don't have a path to an AD trade now. Because Knox and the 3rd pick isn't going to cut it.
best to keep the hopes on the KD/Kyrie pairing in FA.

So should we assume that Zion doesn't get moved until July?
The Knicks wouldn't trade their #3 and players until they know they have Durant and someone else.
The Lakers could try to make the move now, but why would the Pelicans take the Knicks out of the running by doing that?
