Jones has a very similar contract to Rose.

Cmon, the Nets system works for Carter. Kidd will get him at least 10 easy points a game. He also has been depressed being in Toronto. What did the Nets give up for this?

This may be a bad trade for the Nets and I'm glad Vince won't be playing for the Knicks. The Nets have No Front Court. That backcourt is very explosive, but who will be grabbing rebounds? Collins? Scalabrine? Kristic? Who will play defense? If Carter is not healthy, you lost your front court, and 2 1st rounders for, in my opinion, a softy. I will say this, though, when the Nets plays NY, the Knicks better have the transition D down.

Why this is a good trade for the Nets.

First of all, Aaron Williams has not played this season. Maybe 30 minutes total. The guy is good, but we're not losing anything by shipping him out. Zo has a huge contract and is a lability. He is now sitting due to knee pain in both knees. He cannot take painkillers due to his kidneys, and he is unhappy. Eric Williams is going to be a tough lose for us in the half court though. He can post up, draw the foul and pop the three. A nice player.

I love this trade for NJ. They get a big time name in Carter, they will put fans in the seats and Kidd is now happy. They also rid themselves of Zo who will no way finish the season. The two picks going to Toronto are the picks NJ got from the Kenyon trade.

                    I will post more later.

Playoff/Finals appearances cannot fill the seats in NJ. I don't see this adding anymore fans in NJ

Lets not forget. VC won't have to be the man anymore. Granted he gets hurt all the time, but playing alongside Kidd who does nothing but throw oops all day and RJ carrying most of the scoring load, should give VC a little space to relax and play his game.

                            I like this trade alot.

Collins is a good defense center. Nenad Krstic has been getting all of A-Train's minutes. Scalabrine is a decent 10th-12th man. They did sign Jabari Smith who's alright, but obviously they do need some front court help. Maybe, if my dreams come true, they push for Malone, but probably not happening. They'll find someone.
