How does this trade clear the 'players need to pass medicals' clearance??
Vince = on injured list.
ZO = we all know ZO realistically won't pass any medical tests 100%.
So, do the teams involved just 'ignore' the injuries?
It's only the teams that have to sign off on medicals, right? Not the NBA itself? The NBA just signs off the actual contracts etc.Comment

Monkey,
Any professional team gets to choose what the physical entails
Its in there best intrest to get a good physical, but if the team wants ot overlook something "huge" they can just not include that in the required physical part of the players contractComment

Kenyon Martin threw down more dunks than anyone besides Shaq the past 4 years.
I'd say 75% of those dunks were off Kidd passes...and the Nets won.
Kenyon has few post moves and a very limited J...but they won.
VC is going to be on the end of a hell of a lot of J Kidd passes.
Maybe that's just 'highlight reel' type plays, but Kidd creates so many of them that they all add up to a lot of points / victories.
Kidd is the perfect PG for a guy like Vince (and RJ) who is 'limited' in a lot of other area's.Comment

Vince has to be on the floor in order to throw down any of those dunksComment

Side note :I hope Toronto sends ZO on to a contender. Given all he did to comeback, it's kind of sad to see him shipped around as 'trade filler'.Comment

Re: Vince Carter To The Nets?
I predict another trade is in the works. Either Vince or Kidd is going to get traded. There is no way NJ plays with the big men they have now. Their front court is as thin as Demarr Johnson.Comment
