Kuz should be be a big trade chip, and pairing him with KCP+Beas+Lance would net them a good return if someone really wanted Kuz. Still leaving the window open to pursue a Klay, Kawhi, Middleton move this off-season. Maybe even Boogie if it’s a big they are after. Or two B level guys while keeping most of their core.

Kuz has an ease to his scoring, and can do it in a number of ways. He’s really built to be scoring focal point or high level 2nd option. Before LeBron going out ruined his +/- he was one of only 10 forwards in the league to average 17,6,2 with a positive +/-.
    Spoiler
.. he’s really a couple ticks better on his 3pt% from being one of the better scorers in the league, would be him close to 25 a night on nearly 50/40 if he were to knock down an extra 3 or two everyone couple of games.. his offensive game to me reminds me some of Danny Granger, so I could see why teams would be interested..

For the Lakers though, and especially if they are going to keep using Ingram more in their offense, might be more beneficial for them to have a player who scores a bit less, but offers a better combination of defense and maybe passing ability. I like Kuz’s scoring mentality, but his first instinct is always to put the ball on the floor, which isn’t always beneficial to the other Lakers on the floor. And he’s really not consistent enough for them to just give free rein like that. Not while trying to make a playoff push.

While Kuzma is the one lakers besides James I dont want to be traded and I am just worried they would trade him and not get that good of a player back. I have not heard like what they might get back if he was included in a trade and if it would be with other players or picks or if it would just be him or what. I am just worried lakers have made a lot of bad moves the last 5-10 years or so and worried if they trade Kuzma it could be another one. I am so ready for the deadline to be hear had enough of this trade drama.

Would have to be other players. They want to make a playoff push. There isn’t a player in the league doing what Kuzma is doing on a million dollar contract. Would never get anything close to value on a straight up trade.

Hypothetically, and this is just for an example, Lakers could throw out Kuz, and some combination of Rondo, KCP, Beas/Lance and a first for Bradley Beal. And potentially fill those empty spots with buyout players like Melo and DeAndre Jordan.

Not saying either side would do that, but that’s the type of return they would probably be shooting for. A team set to rebuild and unload them with expiring contracts and a VERY friendly Kuzma contract to get the fresh start they are looking for.

The face Kuzma has a very friendly contract is also part of why I dont want them to give him up. Melo I think lakers should stay away form and I am not sure if lakers would need Jordan or not.

I don't know, but say there's truths to some players having issues or a rift between them and Walton, you think Walton is gonna possibly be able to manage this team if the deadline passes and they're all still there?

I'm not sure really many coaches could handle that locker room but it's gonna be a huge mess if they're all still around.

Ehh, getting past the deadline should make it all easier for all of them. Ingram, Kuz, Bron have all already spoken on it publicly. They all seem fine. Other than Lavar running his mouth, I don’t think it’ll be an issue once it’s all over with. That’s what they have Bron, Rondo, McGee, Lance, in the locker room for. They’ve all had much experience with the “noise”.
