                                            They needed a center. He was the best available pick. They also had Kiki Vanderweighe and Clyde Drexler starting but they should have listened to Bob Knight who told them to pick him.

                                            In regards to Darko, You really can't declare him a bust until he has played a full season and have failed. An example of this, see Jermaine O'neal.
