Gotta give credit where credit is due, the Celtics out coached and out played the Bucks.

Horford is the best defender on Giannis that I've seen.

Boston seems to do a solid job of containing Giannis when they play each other.

He averaged 31/11/4 against them this year and 34/11/5 against them last year.

Edit: and 26/10/6 in the playoffs against them last year.

They make him work for it, but he almost always plays well. He was terrible today though; he almost never misses some of the looks he was getting today

Both series could still go 7, but the way Bucks and 76ers have played after gm1, they'll need some big adjustments and/or hope their opponent struggles.

I never predicted this series and I wont but I did say quite some time ago that Hayward coming on right before playoffs made them a dangerous team. Kyrie surrounded by good shooters is good for Celtics bad for everyone else. I did say I had Boston going deep which is pretty vague.

Giannis and MIL will shoot and play better but the Brogdon injury has a much bigger impact than I thought it would. I'm not scared of the George Hill even though he had a good game, Sterling Brown or Connaughton of the world.

Kyrie had a quiet 26/7/11 game if that's possible. I dunno how they stop the Horford/Kyrie 2 man game tbh that duo just has so many counters on what you do on D.

the matchups are why i didn't get the people thinking MIL would roll BOS. We'll see how MIL adjusts.

I don’t really think Milwaukee needs to adjust all that much. They just played like absolute crap all around. But I think Bud is probably content to let Boston take mid-range jumpers which they feasted on today and I would guess Milwaukee is mostly okay with the shots they got on the offensive end. They just all shot uncharacteristically poorly.

It still might not be enough to win the series but that’s why it’s a tough series; Boston is a really good team when they’re clicking.

Horford looked great on both ends of the floor today. Bucks gonna have to play better D on him though. They were giving him too much space and continued to leave him wide open, trying to play help defense.

Lol, did Paul Pierce really pick Bucks to make the finals AND declare the series over after 1 loss, in the same broadcast?

I know it's a trendy thing to do, but former players don't need to be on every broadcast. At least we come to expect funny or crazy things from Kenny and Chuck. So many others just don't make good analysts.

Too many broadcasts, either analysts or commentators just come off as guys with big egos and not really doing a good job. They might know the game better than any fan watching will ever know, but they can't present it like that at all.
