If I'm 76ers, I'm going 3pt heavy for gm2. If Redick gets going, will be tough to stop him.

Simmons also had a nice game as well.

Back off Embiid getting the ball.


For Raptors, they need to work on rebounds. And hope if bench does suck, the starters are ready for 35-40 min games.

I'd add pace of play as well. Embiid has been known to not be the most well conditioned athlete and he was definitely slowing down in the 2nd half. If the pace of this series is going to be like this he's going to have a hard time keeping up.

So last post in this thread til Monday but Alvin Williams needs to cool it. He compared Kawhi/Siakam to Jordan/Pippen. I know they're playing out of their minds but c'mon man!

I can seem some similarities honestly. I’ve actually saw other videos and stats comparing Siakam to Pippen. And Kawhi, most of his offense is quick decisive scoring threat moves where he isn’t looking to do much else when he gets the ball. He’s deliberate. That is very Jordan-esque, or very Kobe-esque minus the 15 pump fakes that come before the shot.

On the game, Kawhi looked great tonight but man that Jimmy Butler defense was straight ***.. what happened to that dudes defense? I mean if Kawhi scores 40 on all tough shots then kudos to him, but can’t be giving the dude freebies. They won’t stand a chance doing that.

That's the point though. Embiid will need to play more now than he has in awhile.

Since the AS break he hasnt played more than 4 games in a row. Gm2 of this series would be his 4th straight. He also has played over 30 mins just 2 times since March 25.

And has only had 1 playoff series in his career like this. 5 game series vs Celtics where he had 3 poor shooting games.


Even on Raptors side, we'll see how much the load management will work. Kawhi will enter his 7th straight game. Has only done that once all year and that was November-December. And this past game was most mins he played in regulation since January.

Hmm he had one of the highest plus minus and I think its pretty obvious at this point the ball funnels through siakim and Kawhi.

It will be interesting to see all the defensive maneuvers and counters from each team. The Celtics like to play Giannis at the top of the key with three players spread across the key and two wings guarding the corners, this takes away his driving capabilities.

Should be interesting who flops more Ilyasova or anyone vs Giannis.
