I forgot it would have to be a sign-and-trade. Richardson would definitely be nice for the sixers. They should also try to get Olynyk if it does happen. He would be perfect to back up Embiid with his shooting and passing.

Harris from day 1 was the best fit, but they will missing not having their “closer”.. it was just too much money for them to pay max for a guy who’s basically just that, a closer.

Embiid needs to make that jump for them. Healthy, closer, and in better game shape.. if he can make those jumps, he’ll be best player in the league candidate IMO.

I think it’s still possible 76ers can sign horford, get assets back from Miami and then sign Harris with bird rights

Sources: Boston's showing interest in a 3-team sign-and-trade w/ Kyrie Irving (Nets), Kemba Walker (Celtics) and Terry Rozier (Hornets). Boston wants to create a full MLE and would likely need to surrender at least a first-round pick to Nets. So far, talks are exploratory.

This is a great move for Boston IMO.. shedding out a first for basically 10 mil player? What if that’s JJ Redick they sign as a result? Or WCS, etc, money to absorb Capela, etc..

If they lose Kyrie and get back Kemba + another good piece I think they go for it. Kemba has been great with young guys in Charlotte and is exactly what they want that Kyrie didn’t provide IMO. You open up the full MLE and that’s just another piece.. the benefit here is if they are under the tax again next year they can sign another full MLE guy.

I saw that report on Celtics possibly being the mystery team for Horford and hoping we can get big Al back, really liked that dude in a Celtics uniform.

Out of all the rumors it looks like New York is the only team that can afford KD + another max right? His max is the 10 year, so much higher than the Kawhi, Kyrie, Jimmy max..

Clippers would have to shed some space. Let Beverley walk and trade off Gallo for basically nothing most likely to afford the rumored KD + Kawhi. Not sure how attractive that makes them look from a roster standpoint. Would largely depend on how players felt about SGA.

Knicks have money and solid youth though. DSJ, RJ, Knox, Robinson.. to me, that’s a good starting spot..

I still think Pelicans are a great fit for Horford..
