Welp, on one hand it feels good to be a full-fledged KD ***** again.

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
This all seems great but if Kawhi goes to the Lakers it won't matter.
If he stays in Toronto or goes to the Clippers, then the league is going to be super competitive and fun.

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
“Zero reason” indicates the return isn’t worth it. I’m speaking more hypothetically, if Kuz is a B level player and they landed 3 C level players in return it wouldn’t make “zero sense”.. over the cap teams only have to trade for I think 80% of contracts, and the Lakers have nearly 2 mil trade exception from Zubac. Meaning trading Kuz could get them 6 mil or so worth of players in return after Kawhi signing.
He’s great for his contract, but he’s not the only player in the league who’s great for his contract.
For example. Nets are rumored to bring in Jordan and don’t have a power forward. Kuz could play power forward next the KD and D Jordan. Kuz and a future 2nd to get back Allen, LeVert, Kurucs for example would not be a horrible trade.. not saying the Nets or Lakers would even consider that, idk what type of players the Nets want, but that’s the idea of the type of trade that was in my head.
Would be more feasible if the Lakers still had Hart to send out with him though. Would be a better return and more takers.. though if they still had Hart they wouldn’t likely shop Kuz to fill a need Hart provided.
