We will see. The Nets definitely just became a far more interesting team to follow that’s for sure.

Btw, autocorrect got me on that post. Instead of wine it was meant to be “woke Kyrie”

With our conservative *** Medical Staff, I have no problem taking this risk on KD.

We’re not winning the championship next season or probably the year after but Year 3, we “should” be at a minimum an ECF team.

We haven’t skipped steps in #TheProgress at all and I don’t expect that to change.

I don't know how you can feel that way about a 30-year-old NBA player. Could he? Of course he might. But there's absolutely a chance that he's never the same player again and it's not like it's a sliver of the odds.

Yeah, you absolutely have to take the chance. I wanted the Knicks to take it if the opportunity came together.

I don't think he'll be the same guy, I just think worst case KD as long as he can stay healthy is still a guy you want to have.

No mention of sign and trade for KD and GS has no cap to replace him. They could be a fringe playoff team next year at this rate

I don’t think the injury is going to be a factor. KD is not an explosive attack the rim player.

Upon his return he may be a bit of a liability on defense, but I don’t expect much of a drop off offensively

Meh. The best take I saw was last week when someone said if the Knicks sign KD the narrative will be “Reckless Knicks” but if the Nets signed KD it’ll be “Sean Marks is a genius”.

Again..I just tip my hat to the Nets and keep it moving.

Er KD leaving won’t have any impact on them next year.

The issue for me on an Achilles injury isn’t the actual recovery itself, it’s the mental side of worrying about it happening again. KD likes to bounce into pull-up jumpers and that bears a load on the calf and Achilles.

But I think he will eliminate any concerns pretty quick. He’s gonna be great. And I’m glad he’s no longer a Warrior.

Hearing "Thank You Ky-rie" chants in the Garden as the C's close out the Nets in the playoffs is going to be so satisfying.
