Respect to Jordan tbh. He might have been able to find a larger offer elsewhere too (maybe 2 yrs 12 mil or so)

Don’t see it working out well for the Nets at all.

Durant will miss next season. Kyrie is going to do his wine Kyrie thing before then and cause problems.

Think it’s very likely that by the time Durant suits up for a game Kyrie will no longer be on the team or will have requested a trade

Nah man, Kyrie chose BK. He didn't choose Boston. Plus he's from the area, much better situation for him personally.

Congrats Pack. The good lord put you through watching the Raptors win it all just to bless you with the biggest moves of the offseason.

Don’t worry, I’ll hold the fort down on **** franchise island while y’all go be great at the big boys table.

                      Re: 2019 Offseason Thread

It's more about KD's health than anything.

KD is missing his age 31 season, his age 32 season will be a rusty comeback season (like Hayward or Cousins or whoever); it won't really be until Year 3 of this era (2021-22) where they might be at full strength, assuming KD--at age 33--becomes the player he was pre-injury.

I'm sure Kyrie will have his moments of stupidity; he's had them in Boston and Cleveland, it's naive to think he'll be a choir boy even if he's now at a team of his own choosing. Not to mention his own knee injuries.

This is what I was worried about as a Knicks fan since these rumors started in February. There's a lot of reason to be optimistic but there's also plenty of room for this to become a disaster.

I'm pretty sure Kyrie's weird *** is going to be miserable wherever he goes. Hopefully (for him) KD can come back from his injury be the Batman to Kyrie's to Robin.. cause we all know that Kyrie ain't no Batman.

I'm not worried about his ability to come back but the injury basically killed any chance we had with the rehab + rust season, completely different windows.
