Kings have signed Dedmon and Holmes, surely they renounce WCS now?

I'm pretty sure they already did earlier today. He should be a UFA.

I just saw a Chris Smoove video about Durant’s number being retired. Is that confirmed? For three years service to the Warriors that seems crazy. They’re going to have a LOT of retired numbers from this era. 9, 11, 23, 30, 35. Probably even 34.

I bet Shaun and Iggy is a reach... Maybe since 9 isn't all that common anyways, but idk.

IMO they were always completely different situations. The Nets do and always have had their own identity. They are not a step child in New York, they don't also play in MSG, they didn't steal the Knicks font and logo, they haven't been the laughing stock of the league for the majority of their existence.

Net's haven't looked like a secondary New York team at any point since moving to BK. Have no trouble staying a prominent team in terms of media exposure, and like the Clippers also have the allure of great front office and great coaching.

Edit: Not to mention even if the situations were the same New York isn't sitting on LeBron and AD to attract a 3rd guy either... This just in, winning matters.

It's not nonsense.. The Lakers led the league in Nationally televised games last year despite having a 3 time champion Golden State team with 5 All-Stars as their starting lineup.. It just is what it is whether people want to talk about how bad the management is or not.. It. Doesn't. Matter.


Clippers making all the right moves. Nobody is denying that. Their ownership, front office, coaching, is among the best in the league. Nobody is arguing that.. Apparently, that's not what's number one on the players priority list. Lakers have and always will have been the team in that city, they are always pushing for rings, they have LeBron and AD, it just is what it is.

I'm not even saying Kawhi will choose the Lakers.. But I think Raptors or Lakers are clearly over the Clippers because either spot gets him closer to winning. Again, which free agents picked the Clippers? If it's not KD, not Kawhi, not Jimmy, how am I wrong?

Vegas odds for the Clippers at even money. Toronto in second, Lakers in third. Is this based on money put down in these teams?

It's not criticism, the Clippers as a team have done everything right. I'm not criticizing them or the moves they've made..



I'm saying a top tier free agent would never chose to go play with Lou and Gallo on the step child team when the big brother team has AD and LeBron.. Doesn't make any sense.

So if Kawhi chooses to stay in cold *** Toronto over both of them what does that say?

Kawhi isn't ringless. Maybe he wants to be nearer to home as his priority.


One things for sure there are just as many agendas on the Lakers side as they are claiming on Wojs.

I love what the Clips have done...

but it's easy to get stuck in that "plucky playoff team who scraps into the playoffs" limbo and fade away real quick...we've fell in love with those teams time and time again.

It's a superstars league, and I dont personally think they're that rare exception that can win much without one. Theres no shame whiffing this summer (if they do]..they set themselves up for success...but I'm not necessarily sold on their bright future as is either.
