Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
Toronto probably lost this one. If you had the last meeting and let him make it out that place without a commitment history usually shows you’re losing out.

We didn't even get a generic "it was a good meeting" from the others.
This dude just don't mess with the media like that.
Especially after last summer, he probably doesn't care one lick that they're squirming.Comment

I said initially I feel like the Lakers had about a 1% chance of getting him, I felt a little stronger about it once all the former and current players started tweeting he was headed to LAL, more so than the media rumors and "insiders"... Still don't think he, or anyone, is picking the Clippers though.
Weird thing is he could have picked Toronto on Canada Day, and now has a chance to pick one of the other teams on Independence Day.. Would be nice if we could get a legit update tonight..Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
What worries me is that the lakers still only have 6 guys on the team. What if Kawhi takes another day or two to make his decision and Cousins and Green are already gone.
It could turn out really bad, worst case scenario is AD leaving next year after an average season.Comment

Re: 2019 Offseason Thread
IDK, I kinda agree with Perk on this.. Why fly all the way to Toronto to tell them you're leaving?

D12 flew to LA to tell them no. It's not unheard of
