If the lakers don't get Kawhi they could use some of their cap space to trade for Dragic. This would allow the Heat to not have to stretch Ryan Andersons contract saving them $ long term.

It wouldn't make sense to stretch Anderson. This upcoming season is his last on contract so either they waive him or just let him expire. That'd be a waste to stretch provision.

I wouldn't have a problem with that if that's what Kawhi chooses. 2+1 with Raptors, opt out after 2 and go sign the supermax 5 year deal in LA. Win win imo. Defending champs in yr1, yr2 Raptors got cap room to max a FA(or if they aren't good, Kawhi can be dealt) and after that he qualifies for supermax and goes home.

That and his decision to return to Cleveland took at least a week from what I remember. I think Sunday spoiled us because we knew about every big FA by the end of that day or early the next morning (if not earlier).
