Anyway these other teams arent even recruiting a top flight free agent so i dont get why theyre just sitting there.

I guess we'll have one more day of a ton of signings just like day 1


For some of these media hypes that was a whole high, then a crash and burn because theyve been having to wait.

I’ve spoken on this before and my opinion might upset some dudes but I don’t really care. LeBron is guaranteed success. Bouncing around teams he plays for is bandwagoning, no matter how you put it.

I’ve only been on these boards since halfway through Cleveland Bron 2 and the rush to defend him from his own team grated on me really quick. It’s like some of y’all have a inner Skip Bayless calling Bron trash every time he does anything and everybody goes under the bus.

****, maybe I’m just fortunate enough to have been born in a City right by where Bron played. That’s just luck of the draw though, man, that’s my team. This may sound hypocritical because as some of y’all might know I’m a Panthers fan but you can’t pick and choose, and if you consider yourself a fan of a team, regardless of where it’s from, you stick with it. Being a fan of a player is cool, I’m a LeBron fan myself, but if the Cavs somehow played LA in the Finals you best believe I’m talking my **** about how he’s 3-5 and a choker. That **** is secondary to your team.

I’m sure I’ve made these points to OJ before and he understands the stance even if he disagrees I just don’t see that coming from you Cima, you gotta see that your situation is the exception, not the rule.

Bottom line: you can't tell someone else how to be a fan. It's their prerogative, not yours. And that's all that matters. You can try and justify it however you want, but at the end of the day, it's not up to YOU to determine how someone else enjoys ________. And frankly, it shouldn't matter. Especially when you're talking to someone who IS a diehard Bengals fan, because I'm from a city with an NFL team. I'm only 32, I had no NBA team growing up, so it makes sense to me that I'm a player fan first.

This is the most fuss I've seen over a 8th seed in a long time. I'm not even 100% they'll make the playoffs next year of they dont strike gold in FA...guess we'll see..

Thats the whole point...not specifically here, but its only Lakers fans who went on this war of rage over kawhi.

They made memes of him in a clippers uniform and everything. To sit back and watch it occur is really strange.

You don't always have to do the fake neutral while you throw shots at one side thing. Hit the panic button on LeBron fandom? Really? So you don't clearly see the issue at hand here that none of the actual Laker fans on the board are trashing the Clippers organization or calling them "little brother" and throwing out conspiracy theories on the Clippers paying the most respected journalist in the sport to say good things about them? None of them are doing this, it's just the LeBron Only fans and you're talking about slamming a panic button to bring up LeBron? One of them isn't even quoting from a Lakers fan reddit for his sources but a friggin LeBron fan reddit but you're questioning why LeBron only fandom is coming up in this topic? Coming from people who didn't say a word about the Clippers or the coverage at all last year or this entire past season as they've been linked to Kawhi and other free agents for the entire season. But now we're going in on "paying for good coverage" and all this other stuff just because someone said they'd be OPEN to a meeting with the Clippers at one point. Unreal man lol

Honestly, don't think most Laker fans cared about the Clippers noise. It was the pure dismissal of the Lakers "they won't get a meeting" "nobody wants to play with Bron" etc that started everything.

I personally don't care. Being in LA I already know how they feel about eachother.

That said this free agency period has been something to behold, and the petty slander has definitely been over Woj himself.

Its been a great free agency so far imo, and cant wait to play the new rosters on 2K honestly.

As far as the Clippers thing, an actual Lakers fan literally just brought it up a page ago...but OK then. Like 23 mentioned , this Woj vs Lakers fan thing has been going on since the start of free agency...and it's definitely not just their "new" crop of fans...this is pretty plain to see all over the Lakers forums, Reddit (theres a 14k+ post on it) etc .Not every extreme cima post should be used as the collective thought on the subject..(no offense cima)...

The Raptors stigma held up damn near until they made the finals, I just dont think it's out if the question to look at the Clips in that same light, because there is definitely one attached to them even though they've been trending upward...Its been like that long before this summer.
