    Re: 2019 Offseason Thread

I kinda want Kawhi to stay in Toronto so we can get a redemption Bron where he just ****s up everybody for acting like he’s washed up. Lol

Not to mention AD actually playing with someone like LeBron who not only takes pressure off him but also can make his game easier..

I’d be cool with the bringing back the guys who are on cap holds, using their exceptions to add Boogie and Morris. Sign some of the buyout market guys like Korver, Iggy, Bradley, sign Melo and let him get a redemption year too.

"Filed to ESPN: The Grizzlies do not plan to give Andre Iguodala a buyout before the season and are actively exploring the trade market for the former Finals MVP, per league sources. Rockets, Mavs among teams with interest." per Tim MacMahon

I think he'd be perfect for the Mavs

Man, I'm tired of hearing people say they want Kawhi to stay in Toronto cuz it's good for the NBA. That trio in LA would be fun to watch, I don't care what anybody says.

"Despite what others say" you can't be serious, the line on Kawhi has been if he leaves he's going home since literally before the year even started. What you're saying is exactly what everyone has been saying. Mills and Uncle Dennis go way back and it was reported we'd get a courtesy meeting, that's it.

And TBH, it's what a difference winning another title makes.

Anyway, Quitter's terrible representation aside he would be wise to either choice the Clippers or Raptors.

I know the hype train is on full bore, but the Lakers still have questionable management, no young assets and little upside in the future (they are in "win now" mode for the next two, maybe three, seasons).

The Clippers at least have young players with upside (Shamet, SGA, Zubac & Harrell) and depth at nearly every position. They can easily withstand his "needed" "Load Management" to recover from his phantom and 'misdiagnosed' injuries.

Also, it'll keep the Western conference wide open for any of 5 or 6 teams.

Raptors, it is clear WHY he should stay. But, his "group" (aka Uncle Dennis) has a strong say in his decision making so......

This take is hilarious. Take LeBron off in a few years and Kawhi/AD would be the best duo in the league and they'll have plenty of money to fill out the roster once LeBron comes off the books. They would be in "win-now mode" as long as those 2 are on the team.

The thought that 28 year old Kawhi, 26 year old Davis, 23 year old Kuzma, can only compete for 2-3 years and somehow has less upside than Shamet, Harrell, SGA [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]..

I understand people don’t want him to go to the Lakers, but y’all can’t be serious with some of this stuff.

It isn't hilarious, it's silly. I was laughing at the absurdity of it while reading it. Although that's certainly one way of looking at it I guess.

I saw Iggy rumor trade to Rockets. That would be a great landing spot for him. It's one thing I thought they lost with Ariza. But Iggy isn't the shooter that Ariza is. I'd love to see Iggy get the green light though lol

Are we sure Raptors aren't doing what LAC did to DeAndre lol.
