This is assuming Boogie fully recovers.

Quad injuries linger and he seemed overweight the last we saw him. He really needs to work on his conditioning and drop some pounds to be able to take the long haul it's gonna require. I'm pulling for him because he's a beast when he's healthy.

Eh, it was kinda meant to [emoji23] but seriously the West is so crazy that I don't know if I can see the Lakers getting any higher than the 6th seed, they have some major depth issues and obviously we don't know how some of their pieces will fit yet. LeBron and Davis will be terrific as usual, Kuzma should be solid, but outside of those three you're taking a huge gamble

Green is a safe vet, but all their other moves I'm not very high on. Just hope they aren't expecting a whole lot out of Cousins, he didn't look good all year IMO

****, Marcus Morris coming too? I think Pelinka read my post about all the players they need to sign.

That Lakers pick and roll defense is gonna be awful when Davis can't be in to help

In his defense, he spent all of last summer rehabbing. And he looked good for the Warriors in the regular season, on offense anyway. People shouldn't let his Finals performance cloud their judgement of him.

Well recovers enough to play. They don’t need him to regain All-Star form or anything.

But yeah, he looked absolutely awful last we saw him..

Big guys typically never recover from Achilles injuries, so I definitely don't think we should just disregard everything about Cousins looking bad last year.

They're gonna get put in the blender

Who are even the net positive defenders on the team now? Davis and Green? We know LeBron's defensive effort during the regular season is questionable. Rondo is almost done. Cousins is terrible defensively. Kuzma is below average.

They better hope they score 120 a night

Playoffs is when he hurt his quad though. So we literally don’t know.

I’d rather him to develop a Sabonis/ZBo like game and not worry about getting back to what he was before. Not just this year for the Lakers but going forward so he can have a good long career.

I mentioned I wanted to see Kawhi stay so I could see a full **** you mode from LeBron..

Ready for all this 8th seed, horrible defense, to not age so well.

assuming they stay healthy - adding this for King so at the end of the year if Bron misses a 4th of the season it will be known ahead of time that its not the same as him playing all year. Same for AD, maybe more so AD.

Lakers at most spent what, $5 mil on him? It's not like they maxed him out. This is a low-risk/high-reward move. And he's not gonna be expected to be the player he was in New Orleans.

Nothing to dislike about this signing at all. He proved during the season last year that he still has plenty of offensive game left.

I didn't say anything about cost, fit or not liking it. Expecting him to ever be the Boogie of Old is setting yourself up for major disappointment. The guy is in the Andrew Bynum phase of his career.

BTW, Morris shot down the rumors of him going to the Lakers on Twitter.
