Easy way of keeping another point guard out of the starting lineup, allows them to play bigger. There's always been another PG in his starting lineups...this should change that.

Depth Chart/Title purposes, maybe it means something, especially for the coaches. Keyword, maybe.

But yeah, it’s no different than 24’s example about Giannis.

I’ll be glad when teams just drop the PG/SG/SF/PF/C titles for good. Because they mean nothing for the most part.

Especially since the SG is the least used spot now and Centers are being phased out if they cant shoot a 3

A lot of LeBron rotations, even if it's not always the starting 5, feature him as a mostly point guard offensive player. In most cases the point guard is only on the floor to guard the other point guard.. I'm assuming that becomes KCP, maybe Caruso, trying to be pesky defenders using their length on the little quick guys. Possibly Cook at times as well.

A KCP + Green starting 5 leaves a bit to be desire in terms of another play-maker on the floor though. Caruso actually getting playing time makes so much sense here...

And I’ve also asked why would people think he would go from the best team in the league to one of the worst ran organizations in the NBA? And the only answer that came up was “Well, it’s the Knicks and they’re the Nets”.
I actually did think it could be the Nets this entire time but that's not what I meant to ask. I was just asking if you, since you said the reports were wrong, think that he was always thinking Nets, and never thinking Knicks. I don't think the Knicks angle was entirely made up.

Story filed to ESPN: In aftermath of Paul George’s departure, OKC star Russell Westbrook is welcoming to idea of Sam Presti engineering a trade that would bring an end to his illustrious 11-year Thunder tenure. Miami's expressed interest, a destination that appeals to Westbrook.
Seems like Miami might be trying the hardest to get him

I think they were wrong as far as Nets to be a serious threat as you guys until the week before it actually happened. And despite there being evidence from the man himself saying he would never play for the Knicks, that Knicks angle was still getting pushed everyday.

The one thing people knocked us for was not being the Knicks. Most of them looked at everything BUT the Basketball side as far why the Nets wouldn’t make more sense then the Knicks.

You guys are forgetting that AD might play point guard too.

The Wolves are engaged in trade talks for Russell Westbrook - per league source.

Minnesota has made it clear to Oklahoma City management they can clear enough cap space to work a deal for Westbrook, immediately.

Wiggins would have to be included in the deal right ? Because I don’t think a Teague and Deing plus draft picks would do it

I think it would be pretty good fit though. I like their team now. It's just their PG situation sucks.

Kyrie signing with Roc Nation weeks before free agency started was the most obvious tell and pretty much clear confirmation for anyone who was still guessing. Everyone knew this.
