I wonder if he would have gone somewhere else if LA and Blake hadn't gone to the Nets.

Maybe "changed" is the wrong word, but by his own words, he's really been able to show his versatility outside of Morey ball, which honestly, I wasn't 100% sure he had in him...

Drop in Usage rate, less foul hunting, less overdribbling, more quick ball movement, not pouting in the corner when the ball isn't in his hands, is a big change to me.

I have no dog in the race and hate all parties involved..but this was good.

Kyrie is definitely Peter Quill, but Harden has to be Tony, Mr. Glass himself Blake Griffin can't be Iron Man.

I did thought that he needed to go to a team with an established coach (Heat, Sixers) and didn't know if Nash was the kind of coach that would command his respect. It isn't that I thought that Nash couldn't do it, but I simply didn't know (it also helps that D'Antoni is there). But people were acting like if Harden was traded to the Warriors (not a possibility, I'm making a point) he would take the whiteboard away from Kerr and start dictating the style of play and the scheme.

Biggest benefit to getting Drummond is that the Lakers really need to win a few games while Bron and AD are still out. Whatever his shortcomings or fit next to a fully healthy team his ability to get 20 and 10 every night can really help a team that doesn’t have much scoring power.

Hopefully they are able to experiment some with Harrell and Drummond playing together as well, I don’t love how Frank is so reluctant to only use Harrell as a back up center. If his role diminishes once AD plays more 5 come playoff time then not trading him at the deadline could hurt them.

I’m interested to see who’s minutes will be dropping with Aldridge coming thru and 7 returning soon. I’m guessing DJ will see a drop in minutes, especially with Claxton’s play over the last month.

Even with that, all we really need is just 10-12 mins of + level ball from the front court guys especially in certain matchups. Again, we’re never going to become some elite defensive unit this year, that’s already well established. But if they can continue to defend like they have for the last month and a half MOST of the time, we’ll be alright. The role players have been playing like role players so now it’s a matter of having KD, Kyrie and Harden together for more than a handful of games.

I've come to the point that we don't need KD......
Until the finals that is. We need him to be healthy for the NBA finals [emoji23]. The current lineup should be able to get through the East (at to the conference finals. Philly is a tough match up). They have a defensive first approach that could slow them down.

I'm not crazy about LMA pick up. That sounds great on paper. But LMA is really bad on defense. I don't carry his much offense he brings (so we even need it?). But in this switching style defense, I worry for him. He won't last long in there.

I would of rather the Nets waited for a defensive mind wing or guard.

The only thing I think this move gives is when they really want to spread the floor in 5 out style. But Jeff Green has been that guy. That's the Nets most dangerous lineup right now. Green at Center.

Maybe I should starting buying those tickets for you now? [emoji23]
