    Re: 2020-21 Transaction Thread

I like the trade for Sixers. George Hill is a vet PG who should fit in great on the bench and allow Shake to not have to be the playmaker he isn't. While Bradley played well, he wasn't likely to play once Joel comes back. Ferguson, I don't think has been active much all season. Poirier only plays in blowouts.

Don't know much at all about Iggy from the Knicks. Still want a stretch big.

Not exactly news but Shams saying it's down to Miami and LA for Lowry. LA offering Schroder and KCP. Miami offering Duncan. Toronto wants Horton-Tucker or Herro included. Lowry prefers Miami between the two

There is no way a big time or superstar free -agent is signing with the Thunder, homie. They'll need to acquire a superstar either by trade (hoping they can be re - signed) or the draft (most likely route).

You never noticed how any of their previous stars were acquired? Ray Allen via trade, Gary Payton, Shawn Kemp, Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Kevin Durant, etc. all added via the draft (including both franchise incarnations).

Fills a huge need for Utah at the off - guard beside Clarkson. They could use another wing or combo forward, but great small trade that improves their roster (plus gives them more shooting).

The ultimate goal would be for OKC to hit big on 2-3 of the picks in the next couple seasons, then flip other picks to fill out the roster with established vets.

Right, but the danger they might fall into is no one wanting that overabundance of draft picks.

Didn't Boston & Philly both get stuck "keeping" the picks and having to draft & stash or move them later?

Presti is a great talent evaluator, so I'm not questioning that aspect (or his ability to find another star beside SGA), but I think he should begin re - routing some of those picks soon.

Draft pick hoarding netted Boston & Philly two stars/superstars each and a whole bunch of meh....

Plus, I didn't fully understand dumping Ferguson and Diallo in succession. One or the other could've become a solid bench piece or quality sixth man.

Right now, I only see three or four guys worth maybe keeping on the roster, but he's liable to move them for more picks....

I'd rather Robinson over KCP, but Herro over Robinson.

Herro and Precious would be a nice return.

Will Lou even play for ATL? I highly doubt it.

You're right. If you don't hit right away, you're stockpiling average or worse players and have to draft and stash. I'm not big on draft and stash unless it's a guy who has a very high upside. I don't want to wait 2-3 years for a rotational player or someone who never comes over. Didn't Sixers trade a draft and stash guy to the Thunder in December who they drafted a couple years ago. I think he was seen as a great prospect but wasn't sure he'll ever come over

Yeah I don't think I'd bother dealing with the Lakers if THT isn't included. Nothing else they can offer is really interesting enough to justify trading Lowry unless you're doing Lowry a solid (which is definitely possible given what he's done for the Raptors).

Seems like Heat could be getting Oladipo. So that would take them out of getting Lowry.

If LAL are only suitors left, and Harrell is only guy I'd really want from them, and no way they'd deal him.
