I could see the Clippers packaging some guys but they have no picks to offer and surely Toronto isn’t interested in a package around Lou Will.

Looks like the 76ers could get there with Green, Scott, Bradley, Ferguson, I bet they would move a pick or two to get that deal done but I wouldn’t trade away Harris to get him.

Miami might be the most likely. Something with Iggy and Olynyk for money and Robinson or picks to sweeten the deal. But they have Dragic and Nunn.

I don’t really know where else a move even makes sense. Would the Spurs actually trade a pick or two to pair him and DeRozan back together with their young pieces? They have the Aldridge and Mills contracts and could bring back Baynes with that too. They don’t really need a PG though.

If it's possible for a 3 team deal to help with salaries, I could see something like that happening instead.

I’m saying no just for Robinson alone.

What would be the point of this from Miami’s perspective?

We're gonna be missing the days when super teams were only 3 guys aren't we?

People acted like it because those guys actually embraced it and were proud of it, lol. Hell, I loved ***hole Lebron because it allowed him to be real and it was funny watching other folks get up in arms over his every word/action he did much like they do now.

Idk all this new Nets hatred is just funny to watch come of nowhere in real time(especially from non-Knick fans)We haven’t won **** and we’re supposedly irrelevant in our own city yet we getting treated like we’re the Warriors and have won championships here [emoji2377]

In other news, Ersan Ilyasova is back in the league. Jazz picked him up

He's gonna have to fight Niang for minutes but he could be good insurance for the 2nd half of the season and help us rest some guys

Looking at 76ers roster, if they did do a deal for Lowry, maybe Green,Curry,Bradley, cash (so Raptors buy out Green), future 1st?

I don't really want to make the Lowry move. He'll definitely help us, but he is still about to be 35 and an expiring contract. He'll be likely to resign, but he isn't in the position where he would want to take less to ring chase.

But you definitely can't package Green and Curry in any deal. You lose your primary 3pt shooting. I wouldn't say Curry is untouchable, but no real reason to want to trade him this season. Green is definitely on the table for any deal that requires a bigger contract to match.

My top 3 expendable Sixers are Green, Furkan, and Milton. You can definitely upgrade Green on the starting lineup. Preferably a two way wing who can guard quicker wings. But, I'm okay with the starting lineup. I still rather just improve backup PG and a Stretch Big.

He won't take a discount to ring chase, but I'm sure he will take a hometown discount.

76ers could always sign Green back, which is why I said 76ers pay for buyout money.

It's a shame either way that Lowry won't get to play one more game in Toronto with the fans. That would be more incentive to deal him by the deadline though. You aren't just letting him walk in FA and giving him a sendoff in his final game (like Bautista got with the Jays).

76ers don't need to trade Curry to match money so I'm assuming they would basically make him "untouchable" in a Lowry trade.

I say that because I think I saw a report that he wanted to play 2 more years at 30 million a year. At the end of careers, when you already have a ring and still a quality player, usually they try to get as much money as possible. I wouldn't want essentially 4 max guys. The main positive would be if he resigns for at least 2 years, you essentially have the core of Lowry, Curry, Simmons, and Tobias, and Embiid all locked up for the next 2 seasons.

I think with any high salary trade, they have to pair Green, Scott, and a few bench guys to match salaries. I don't want to deplete a weak bench. I would like a pairing of PJ Tucker and a George Hill. You can't really play Dwight in any of the major potential Eastern Matchups since most of them will likely go small.

Green/Scott/Ferguson/Bradley would get you Lowry money wise. Leaving a bench of Shake, Thybulle, Maxey, Korkmaz, Dwight.. Which is still pretty solid. I think Philly would still need to be active in the buyout market after that, Otto Porter maybe? If you throw Thybulle and Poirier in that trade money works for a 3 team trade with Philly getting Lowry and Tucker... Bench would be a bit more depleted but the buyout market could be deeper for perimeter guys. Redick, Hill, Ariza, Ellington, etc.
