I'm still shocked the Bulls made moves. Like...actual moves that upgraded the team. Guys who actually have stats worth mentioning.

    Mind-blowing.

Houston traded Harden and basically got zero players for him

Where great is that the Heat didn't give up their shooters in Duncan and Tyler. I think that's the biggest steal. All these deals. And those 2 didn't move. That's shocking. Pat be working these dudes.

The old man still has it they got a lot better and gave up nothing. They will also have the bird rights so they can sign someone this offseason and bring him back if he plays well.

Unless I missed it in all the news the Heat also kept Dragic and Nunn correct? They might be right back in the mix of things come playoff time. Bam gotta show out again but he's a matchup nightmare for Philly, BK, and MIL.

I'm sure he'll get picked up by someone once the buyout is complete.

Had to go back and read my Harden reaction/posts at the time the trade and yikes.

OJ was right about Houston/Oladipo though. They could’ve had LeVert or Allen and instead chose someone they ended up trading 2 months later. Just odd.

Allen is playing so well for Cleveland right now too and LeVert is back on the floor now, just hit a game winner lol.

They didn't pick Oladipo over Allen did they? They could have had both and simply opted to send Allen for another pick instead, right?

The Allen part was odd to me. I don't really blame them for not wanting LeVert's contract given his injury history but I think it goes without saying that they had hoped for more from Oladipo.

I assume $ was the major factor as they didn’t want to pay levers. They banked on being able to get a 1st for Victor and that didn’t happen. I get wanting a clean cap sheet but they got no players for one of the best players in the league. Are GM’s really that worried about getting draft picks now ?

Not sure how reliable Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson is, he often reminds me of Broussard with all his supposed sources, but he claims Lowry to Miami was a done deal and Houston came in offering the Oladipo deal at the last minute to sway them to change. Supposedly Toronto then gave the Lakers a final offer which they did not like, I'm assuming their first, THT, or Caruso would have been involved.

He said Giannis was likely to sign with the Knicks this past offseason lol

It would've been good if they were able to extend Oladipo, but you have nothing immediate to show for the Harden deal. If you can't hit on those picks, all for nothing and chance they end up with their own 1st if it doesn't land inside the protection.
