Re: 2/9 - 2/22 Games Discussion Thread
Not sure they ever had a chance. He was awesome in 2019 and I guess you could make the case that he should have been dealt while he was hot but I'm guessing ownership didn't want to trade for a guy just to deal him again midway through his first season with the team.
After that though, it's been nothing but injuries on injuries, basically killing any chance of shipping him elsewhere. That's without accounting for his contract.Hands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

He played out of his mind Impressive win for NY.
Atlanta has now lost 4 straight with the next 5 games being Boston, Boston, Denver, Cleveland and Boston
Ben has 42, 7 and 8 without Joel with most of the 4th to play

Slowed down a bit when they started running lineups with him and Dwight on the floor together. Then we could put Royce on him and he did a much better job on him. Royce is really coming into his own, man. He played Giannis, Jimmy, and Tatum great the last three games tooTwitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Jordan Clarkson with 40 off the bench! Dude is amazing man. I need a jersey.
We keep rolling. If not for that Nuggets game where they shot 70% from three, this would be 20 straight wins, with the majority of them being double-digit leadsTwitter: @TyroneisMaximus

I was just a year early on Utah when I said they could be the best team in the league lol.

Royce also has taken another step on both ends of the floor. His passing ability is pretty underrated
Donovan of course keeps steadily improving
And honestly I think this is the best Rudy has played defensively in his career. He's been no doubt our MVP this year. The Ingles/Gobert pick and roll might actually be the best PNR duo in the league. It's crazy
Sometimes it just takes a year for new additions to fully click. Clarkson looks better than the second half of last season after we traded for him, too. Even though it was a short offseason you can definitely tell the work he's put in with our staff is paying off. We have some of the best player development coaching in the league, right there with Toronto, San Antonio and Miami IMOLast edited by JazzMan; 02-16-2021, 12:11 AM.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Re: 2/9 - 2/22 Games Discussion Thread
Perfect role on a perfect team for his skillset. He's having a career-year on both ends of the floor, he's really buying into the system and offensively he has a perma-green light from Quin Snyder to shoot anything. You can tell he's having fun out there with these guys, he's really gotten close to Donovan and Ingles in particular
It helps that he has one of two bruisers in Gobert or Favors next to him whenever he's on the floor. Helps him gamble defensively and then offensively their screens (even though it's been memed to death) are second to none. Really opens up the floor
I almost wonder if a big part of it is the Jazz's offensive system being so convoluted and tough to guard. More and more teams are throwing switches at us. So when they finally feel adjusted, Clarkson checks in and he comes in hunting switches to bigs on PNRs. Whenever they switch, it's an iso and usually a bucket
What's actually impressed me the most about him is his effort and energy on defense and on the glass. The dude has springs for legs and never seems to get tired lol he just keeps the throttle on 100 the entire gameLast edited by JazzMan; 02-15-2021, 11:49 PM.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Brooklyn making money off this dribble hand off series with either Green or Jordan. I've seen them run the play to start games off. But it's a tough cover if the defense doesn't communicate correctlyHands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Out of the 19 wins in the last 20 games, 17 of them have been double digit wins for the Jazz
