It's probably the normalization of players taking frequent low % shots over and over. I honestly wonder if people even realize what the league wide 3 point % is, for example. People have been fooled into thinking it's a higher % shot than it is, when it's the same as it was in the 90s and 00s.Comment

It’s hurting the quality of the product and eventually that will catch up to you. The older crowd like my dad (69) when talking about the modern game says “all they do is shoot 3’s”

In all honesty I really don’t think that Rozier shot is even a good example for the argument some of y’all are tying to make. I don’t think that shot has anything at all to do with being wired to take 3s, bad shots, etc etc.. I think it was just a guy trying to be a hero knowing that a 3 would win instead of tie. Maybe if he was down 1 and still took that shot, but I don’t think he would have personally.

It’s not about taking your chances against a full strength team to a depleted one. It’s just about getting out of the building as quick as possible.
I mean all of this is irrelevant because I’m an idiot because Charlotte was at home lmao but still, I don’t see a huge problem with it. I do think he could have played for a better shot if anything because there’s a lot of time left.
I’ve been watching too many UK sports lately because they have home team first, away team second I clearly saw the Hawks being at home there.
