I feel like they’re still scarred from the Malice at the Palace that as soon as they guts talking **** to each other, they automatically assume the worst is going to happen real soon.

Nothing about that situation required it escalating as quick as it did as far the Officials giving them both Techs and then tossing them.

Anyway, I don’t even think this was a game where the Nets did anything wrong, Lakers just had a hot shooting night. One of those “It’s basketball, it happens” type of nights so there’s really nothing to draw from this on our end. On to Minnesota.

I’m guessing we’re not going to get those “See, it’s unfair that the Nets got Blake and Aldridge on their team” takes tonight though huh

I am so grateful the Lakers lucked into Frank Vogel. What a phenomenal defensive coach he is. He's got the #1 defense in the league (or #2 on some metrics) despite his two best defenders missing significant time.

It's so refreshing to have the lakers being elite defensively after all theses years of being awful on that end. Team plays hard and hustle.

Another team down 2. Pump fakes defender off his feet. And instead of driving for the easy 2. He side steps into a tough 3 pointer. He's made this shot before. But why not take the high % shot. I just don't get it.

Number 2 for me. Anthony Edwards still number one. But it's damn close. It's always the amount of body contact that does it for me.

The terry rozier shot at the end of the game I think is the worst one I’ve seen in my entire life. I guess that’s why I’m not a coach bc I would bench him for atleast 2 weeks just for taking it

This is the Steph Curry effect, but I'm sure Steph would have driven to the basket and at least drawn a foul. And Rozier didn't even get a good look there. Weird.

Collectively the shot making of players is better than ever, but also the decision making is worse than ever as well.

Im sure a clip will be going around soon but I can’t even fathom thinking about taking such a awful shot when your down by 2. It single handily won Atlanta the game so I’m cool with it. But from a league wide look view it’s hurting the league and quality of play.

Besides us here and some folks on TV and the radio, do most fans even care about things like this now? Unfortunately I'm not sure that they do.
