Yeah, I'm not crazy about him considering testing it tonight. The series still has a long way to go, might be better to see how Game 5 shakes out and go from there. I know you don't want to be in a hole, but it seems unlikely that he'll be able to play a full game yet.

I agree with the above on Harden sitting one more game. Only because this is a reoccurring injury.

Win game 5 and give yourself a chance. Lose game 5 and your team gets a little tighter. So I sightly see the reasoning behind it. The bottom line is to win at all cost.

Harden has been upgraded to doubtful for tonight and will give it a go in shoot around to see if he can play tonight.

If you look at the regular season points average for the Nets top 8 players (not including Harden/Kyrie) you get 95 points, including 27 from Durant. If everyone just gives their average offensively and Durant goes off for 40 that's 108 points. So theoretically, all you need is those 7 guys to score their average and for Durant to go off for 40. That doesn't seem too hard to me in a home game situation. 108 points should be enough to beat the Bucks in Brooklyn.

Rushing Harden back is not a good sign on multiple levels, seems like someone is pressing the panic button.

Put Harden into PnR early and often to test that hammy out if I'm Milwaukee. Make him work hard on defense because his mere presence on offense will open up things for them.

100%.

He and Conley have the exact same injury and have injured it before, which caused them to miss weeks.

I dont think either of our teams have a choice here. Opponents have tied it up at 2-2 after being up 2-0, gotta at least see of they can go

Just realized that the Hawks will go at least 6 games in the ECSF so regardless of how their season ends, I think you can chalk this season up as a huge W for ATL. Can't say the same for the other remaining 6 teams (minus PHX, they get big fat W for making the WCF), they all get Ls if they don't make it to their respective conference finals.

The Bucks gotta test him some, but I also don't want them to fall into just attacking him relentlessly and not moving the ball the way they did in Game 4. They need to keep it moving and keep the whole defense off balance.

Definitely think they should be trying to make sure Harden and Durant can't just chill in the corners with Tucker/Brook on the defensive end though.

I’m hoping Joe can come up out of this 2 game slump he’s been in. If we can get him hot early and he’s being his aggressive self, that opens up things for Harden, KD and the rest of the offense.

Otherwise without his hot shooting, we’re playing right into the Bucks’ hands on Defense. Also need to do a better job of getting to the line or at least aggressive in attacking the basket.

Someone mentioned how they were amazed that Trae made it to the 2nd round of the playoffs before Luka.

A lot factors play into that sure. But interesting nonetheless.

Is it really that interesting that the Hawks have made it to the 2nd round before the Mavs have since they drafted Luka? Especially when you consider all the factors and their situations as well?

In the moment it probably sounds more impressive but I guarantee when we look at this in a few years, we’re all gonna say “Yeah but the Hawks play in the East and they beat a team that couldn’t score to save its life that year”.
