Man, these guys can run and gun. No wonder why Charles Barkley hates both teams so much. He was never in shape and could never get up and down like these teams do.

        This game is SICK!

        How about Jason Terry?

I know Don Nelson is like a kid in a candy store when he see's all this damn talent on bench. It's like do I play Harris or Terry or Daniels at PG. Do I go with Josh, Van Horn or Finley at SF right now.....and where's Stackhouse?

yea, LOL those two teams might only score about 10 more points than that for 4 quarters.

and It's not only about playing D. It's about the pace that you play at. The mavs might set a season record for steals tonight. They already have 15 with 5 minutes left in the 3rd.

Can any of these win in the post season running this tempo the Mavs and Kings have had good success and even the Nets in a weak east but when it comes down to it even when these two teams play Defense they score so fast on the other end they are garunteed to give up large points.

I think what people are forgetting is that Dallas only allows 97.4 ppg which is down from 103.2 ppg last year. They also are ranked 7th in def fg% at 43.7 overall and rank in the top ten in both steals and blocks per game. The difference is those #'s are only possible when Dampier is healthy abd playing with Henderson aswell.

In other words for the next 2 weeks Dallas will allow a high point total because the key to their defensive improvements were both Dampier and Henderson down low and they don't have that luxury right now for about two weeks. I wish people would take this into consideration because those two guy's are huge assets and until they return Dallas has to go small ball again meaning Dirk moves to Center.

Re: Mavs vs Suns and I'll be there tonight.

This is a very good basketball game and fun to watch. The Suns make runs then Dallas makes runs up and down with very skilled athelets all over the court.

This trade for Van Horn is looking really good for Dallas. He is so fluid going against other teams PF on offense.

Ok game over. Suns 124-123....outstanding game by both teams. Joe Johnson hit a huge shot with about 4.7 seconds. The Mavs got a really good look by Dirk driving to the basket and 95% of time he finishes that play or gets fouled but it looked like Marion just barely got a piece of the ball from behind. I don't get into arguing over non-calls because it's worthless. Neither team deserved to loose this game but Phoenix showed great poise down the stretch and Dallas looked like they took too many quick shots late when they should have just killed clock.

All in all this would be one barn burner of a playoff series and it could happen in the second round if the Suns get the #1 seed. They would then have to play Dallas in a possible second round matchup. This is what I'm hoping so I can actually attend a playoff game this year.

I respect there new found defense but 97 Points per game allowed is high for a NBA Champ.
