An Observation

Coach John Thompson interviewed KG and asked him basically (paraphrasing), "No BS, how does it feel havin' the record you all have after everyone expected you to be a championship team?" They had to cut the interview. KG looked like just a beaten man answering, and ended his answer like I said, "I'm losin', man.... I'm losin'..." And, he got choked up, about to cry and held up a finger to have them cut the camera.

no joke, if players had one tenth of his will and passion for the game then this league would be way better and have less whiners and cry babies. he plays basketball cause he loves it not cause he gets paid to play it. the full interview is supposed to air satuday.

Yeah, I saw it. I can't wait to see the whole thing. It looks like it will be a great interview. You have to love a guy like that. He's a guy who genuinely cares pours everything into his sport physically and mentally as you could see the emotion of it got to him. They are a .500 team but he keeps busting his a$$ through it all. Big props to KG.

That is the funniest thing I heard in a while. Hmm let me go back to before the lockout. MR. play for the love of the game turned down $115 million or so for 6 years because it wasnt enough yeah $128 millions for 6 years was love of the game.

so i suppose he should just play for free to make people like you beleive that players like him love the game and prove its not about money? jordan was the same way. if you can get the money take it but dont question their love for the game just cause they get paid alot.
