Especially since this was the guy that Giannis cosigned for, when they had the opportunity to essentially handpick any of the top candidates

Mans must’ve done some wild **** to his bosses because they were 2nd in the East and you figured they would factor in some of those expectations with a first time HC.
Giannis vouched for him and learned to hate him after like two weeks in the building with him lol. Needless to say a disastrous hire (aside from the fact that it got Giannis to re-sign). Wish we'd just go back to Budenholzer but I'd be shocked if Doc Rivers isn't the guy.

LMFAO You traded your best perimeter defender. What did you expect? Then you traded him for an offensive counter part. This is too funny [emoji1787]
Struggling defensively without Jrue is to be expected, but Griffin came in saying he wanted the defense to be built around ball pressure and forcing turnovers. The ball pressure has resulted in constant layup lines for the opponent and I think we're like dead last in forcing turnovers.

Didn't the Bucks have the best defense in the league the last few years [emoji23]

Bucks have done miracles on me. Griffin was awful but Doc also stinks. He's also massively worse than Bud. how does doc continue to do this lmao.

if you watched the Bucks you knew this was coming, the record doesn't tell the whole story.

Based on experience with Doc, I can see the pros and cons with Bucks. He will find what works and will spam it, so I would expect a ton of Giannis-Lillard PNR. He won't force defensive coverages that don't work or have personnel for. He is a great regular season coach. But, they would be getting another version of Bud. Doc is stubborn and set in his ways. He doesn't adjust and can be out-coached. His ego can get too big at times and doesn't hold himself accountable.

The roster currently was built around a we need to outscore you to beat you philosophy.

Watching Indy and Haliburton hammer the Bucks and the Bucks barely squeaking out

victories over the improving Pistons the last 2 games(thanks Novak for reminding us lol)

The past few seasons rosters have been solid defensive play with decent offensive play.

The question begs, why get rid of Bud in the first place?

And yeah, Giannis in a signing situation, they will go with his choice.

Doc is not the answer. What a mess.

They look even dumber for not bringing in Nurse when he was available (and the best candidate).

Do they promote an assistant coach or hire from the outside?

Milwaukee has really ****ed things up, but they'll still be title contenders as long as Giannis & Dame stay healthy.

(Also, like Jeebs said trading away Jrue and not having an even marginally similar defender on the roster was dumb.

They will continue to struggle on that end unless Beauchamp or Jackson Jr. somehow make huge strides in 4 months. [emoji1][emoji1][emoji1])

And I knew they would regret dumping Bud and not giving him at least one more 'prove it' season.

The dude's brother just effing died for Pete's sake. Of course his head wasn't fully in the Miami series (when they were once again not healthy, although Miami was banged up too.)

Me and Bleacher Report must have different ideas on what "inside story" means. This is one of those we just need to print something kind of stories, cause it didn't add or tell us anything that wasn't already known.
