No thanks lol. I would've kept Pat Bev. But I get why things went down like they did. Pat Bev said on his podcast that he asked if he was getting traded after the Denver and that Morey said no. It became widely assumed that after the Rozier-Lowry trade, that Lowry will end up on the Sixers. I think Bev felt the writing on the wall that he'd get traded or lose minutes. I'm not confident in Lowry. But, I feel Tyus wouldn't be a playoff guard either. So, I rather settle for Lowry for half a season than give up a first for a Guard who might be a viable playoff option

I'm not caught up with losing Pat Bev, Morris, Korkmaz, Springer, and House. All those guys aren't really viable playoff options, even though I like how Pat Bev has been playing this season. But man the vibes this team had to start the season compared to now, is a complete complete 180. Losing Bev, Morris, and House sucks all the energy off the bench and removes any toughness and 'dawgs". Hell Pat Bev was like the 3rd best rebounder on team lol.

Raptors traded Schroeder and Young for Dinwiddie.

      Raptors waived Dinwiddie

      Nets waived Young

How often do you see a deal where the majority of guys involved get waived right after?

Apparently Dinwiddie being waived by the Raptors now voids a clause that would've paid him a bonus of $1 (yes, $1) if the Raptors won the title.

Sure, it was never happening, but what a funny clause.

Weirdest move of the day was Philly dumping Pat Bev.. not really following that one.

Yeah, I don't like that move. Outside of Hield move, their moves was essentially salary dumps. Initially I was all aboard getting a quality backup PG, but Pat Bev exceeded expectations. He was made to play in Philly and was quickly a fan favorite. And now they dump him with the belief that Lowry will be a better fit. Lowry will provide more consistent perimeter offense and decision making. Maxey was going to play 38-40 minutes in a playoff setting, I'd rather play Pat Bev knowing he'll provide defense and hustle. Philly's only plus perimeter defender is Melton(how has been hurt).

Unless they exceed expectations, I can see Sixers falling into the Play-in. If they go up against Boston or Bucks in round 1, they will be a quick exit. I don't like the idea of hoping that an unknown star will reqiest a trade.

Surprised a team like Atlanta didn't make a trade. I understand teams weren't willing to give up first round picks. If I'm a correct, there were only one first traded today which was a future first in the Utah-Raptors trade. But, I'm surprised they didn't make a move just for future cap space flexibility. They still have a ton of money on the books for next year. I definitely see them making a few draft trades settle their cap flexibility.

Also don't get the Bulls not wanting to accept a rebuild. If "we want to stay competitive" means at best making the playoffs as a 8th seed and getting swept by Celtics is competitive, then they are a directionless team. I don't think Caruso's value will be any higher than it is now. They could have gotten a couple seconds for Drummond who could walk this summer. And if you're not going to extend DeRozan, than I don't know what their plan is.

Wizards got a first for Gafford. That was a great trade for both sides imo.

Gaff should help them more than his overall rating would suggest and Washington grabbed a 1st for a energy role player. Win-win.

I think Atlanta has (correctly imo) decided they don't need to make a trade right now. Murray will be a hot commodity for the remainder of his contract, Atlanta just needs to not wait until it become a Beal-like situation.

I wonder what really happened that it only lasted half a season to where they couldn't wait to get him out lol

Not banking much on him. But with trading Pat Bev and how depleted the Sixers are, he should help
