A dope presentation that the Sixers did for Maxey.

Let me find out that they are bringing back the Iverson-era black jerseys this year lol. I never rocked jerseys, but I definitely cop some Iverson-era Tees and hoodys

Yo Maj you seen this? So y'all was close to getting Kawhi back and PG coming over? How you think it would have worked out there? Same as in LA? Better with Masai running things?

People go back and forth on it.

On one hand, it felt like they had no real intention of teaming in Toronto it was all a ploy to get the Clippers to cave into their demands.

On the other hand, I still wouldn't have done it.

Sounds like the deal would've been 4 unprotected firsts, Siakam and FVV for George.

And imo if it did happen, PG and Kawhi would leave after 2 years leaving the Raptors with at most maybe OG as Lowry probably still leaves for Miami, and then don't have a 1st in 2022, 2024 or 2026 when the Kawhi/PG era would've been done by 2021.

Not the type of position you want to be in as a franchise that wouldn't exactly have all star free agents lining up wanting to play there, so without FAs or draft picks what do you have for the next several years?

Once the NFL season ends the NBA will air nationally televised games every single day.

            Monday on Peacock
            Tuesday on NBC
            Wednesday on ESPN
            Thursday on Amazon
            Friday on Amazon/ESPN
            Saturday on ESPN/Amazon
            Sunday on ESPN/NBC

Sucks there's no TNT coverage anymore. Would've preferred TNT instead of Amazon.

This isn't for the upcoming season, but for the '25 - '26 season, right?

Man, that sucks if Warner Discovery really got nothing. Boo! [emoji20]

When you look at the market cap of Amazon vs WBD, you can see how that would happen lol. Sad but true.

As I understand it, WBD has five days to match one of the deals. I don't know if that means if they match then whichever one they match they're out or it just adds Turner to the list of partners though. Either way, TNT still has a pulse for a few days at least.

I'll say, the extended shoulders on those early 2000s black Philly unis was one of the worst jersey fashion trends in history, right up there with the mid-2010s sleeve era. The extended shoulders may have worked when chiseled dudes like Kenyon Martin were rocking them at Cincinnati but once that trend trickled down to the high school circuit, I can say that they absolutely did not work for 160-pound 15-year-olds.

Thankfully, they look a touch thinner in the Maxey photo.

Of course, Allen Iverson made anything look cool but as a whole, I was out on the shoulder pad era.

Looks like the regular cut jerseys they wear, now.

Which like you said is a very good thing.

                            Silvers comments on expansion
“I think we will engage this fall, in earnest, in the process of making those determinations — should we expand and if we were to expand, how many teams should we expand,”

Glad they matched Amazons deal. If the full deal will be ABC/ESPN, NBC/Peacock and TNT, that's great news.
