Barkley announces that after Inside the NBA is over he will stay on with TNT Sports.

I'd imagine this could likely means he'll be part of NHL on TNT?

2K3 is still great, but I love 2K5 intro the most:

Do they mean for next season or once the NBA deal is up? If it's after, then that's kind of obvious.

But I also wonder if TNT keeps those 4 around for a show. No Inside the NBA doesn't mean they have to be done. There's no pregame or halftime show, but what's stopping them from still doing (prerecorded) studio shows that still covers the NBA and I guess other sports too? Would be the same as Sportscenter or anything else like that.

It would be after the upcoming season. Barkley said the reason he decided to agree to continue with WBD was because they said they would continue with the entire crew after the 24/25 season, but they aren't sure what it will actually be. I'm thinking they could just do a show twice a week during the NBA season, with highlights from that night, and just general debate like normal.

                That's what I've been thinking.

If you still have 1-2 shows a week with the crew for an hour each show, you don't entirely need a live game broadcast to still have them talking basketball, shaqtin, Kenny's big board, Neato, rant on San Antonio women and all that.

Halftime shows for them were quick things anyways. Pregame was a good show, but post game show was always the best part and that could still carry on.

Noah Lyles was offended when Adidas invited him to an Anthony Edwards event last year

“You want to do what? You want to invite me to [an event for] a man who has not even been to an NBA Finals? In a sport that you don’t even care about? And you’re giving him a shoe?” 😬

At this point every hate he gets. He kind of deserves it at this point.

I thought some of y'all praised him for saying that the NBA champs aren't really the world champs? Maybe I saw it on from some of the cashual non sports fans I see on my socials.

It definitely wasn’t me if it was someone here. I’ve always thought he was a clown for that and coming at the NBA specifically for it.

I didn’t praise him or understand why he was just randomly coming at the NBA guys or just other American athletes, that was still weird on his end, but I agreed with his point in general. Always sounded corny to me that the NBA champs got called World Champs.

Is it not okay for any club sports team to call themselves world champions? Should that only be an Olympics thing, or can the winners of other national team competitions be considered world champions?

I think the point would make more sense if he was going after the winner of the MLS calling themselves world champs or something lol.
