What do we think about Starting 5 in here? I'am only catching up and I was pretty hyped at first but I'am disappointed that it shows so much of their private life I have 0 interest in seeing. I don't like seeing private family moments with young kids, I feel it's so intimate and private I shoudn't see that. Still some cool on the court moment and pictures but that's about it for me.

I thought it was funny that even the players where confused by the in season tournament but still they seemed pretty hyped about it.

Also I'am watching Heat @ Celtics 2012 game 6 and that's just crazy how much basketball has changed even though Miami was already a pretty modern small ball type of team. Seeing Rondo run free throw line pnr's is wild.

I seriously doubt the NBA will do anything now. Maybe they'll take away their 2nd round picks cause they don't 'own' any 1sts for a while?

And of course they "tampered" how else do they think they can acquire a top 10 player for Tobias Harris and filler. (I think that was their best offer to the Spurs at the time.)

It's known that they tampered during his Raptor season (the trainer claims that Clippers staff was at 75% of games), but never knew tampering also happened during that injury season in SA.

The NBA should step in but they probably won't.

I don't have any 'proof' or hearsay just speculating that they were courting him a few seasons before he officially hit free agency.

It likely happens a lot more than just the few times teams got caught red-handed.

As long as they keep Inside completely walled off from the rest of ESPN. And they better not have any rules about what they can say.

That'll be great news as long as it's Inside the NBA the actual show, they're not just taking the name of the show to attract people but the look and feel of the show isn't the same.

Last thing we need is the show basically just being called Inside the NBA but is mainly just SAS, Perkins and all the others who are taking over.

Bad news:
They're looking at a 4 team tournament (3 all star teams + rising stars challenge winner) competing.

Semi final games would be first to 40 points.

Finals would be first to 25.

It's a work in progress and not finalized, but I don't like that. If you're doing 4 teams, make it 4 all star teams.

Each game is a 12 min quarter, then the finals is two 12 min quarters. Maybe go video game mode where the winning team then is allowed to add 2 players from the losing team on to their roster.

They just need to do East vs West and live with people whining about it every year. If the players don't care, they don't care. It's on them to actually show up and play in a way that's embarrassing to everyone. Gimmicks aren't going to help.

This is interesting. I'd definitely look into Isaiah Stewart. Like the article says, he'll help a lot with the interior "D" despite being undersized. Mitch Robinson is too unreliable.

Detroit is surprisingly competitive this year, I don't see why they'd be sellers this early



I get why Knicks fans want a high energy, highly physical player with upside... But Detroit fans also want that lol
