For some perspective, Cuban's net worth is reported at $6.2 billion. Adelson's is $32.8 billion.

I hope I'm not breaking TOS here. But I've always found it weird when you have such a young person dating another young person and one person just becomes old (just turned 21 a few months ago).

I knew a lot of people who were dating old college guys around the same time. I mean **** I was dating an older woman by the same standards around the same age. I just think there is a problem when you have a huge gap. When someone just becomes an adult.

Ahhhhh I don't know if you saw. But the parents are not talking. Neither is the girl. So my guess is they paid off, or maybe he was lied to, or they consented to the relationship and want to keep the entire thing quiet because it would destroy everyone's life.

I'd like to think it's the last one or a combo of the first and third. Because there is a bunch of videos of them at a club with him. I don't know how she's in a club at that age.

I mean, they don't necessarily need her cooperation to build a case. If they can build a case independently, and have enough evidence, they can charge him. Get a good lawyer Giddey.

Giddey situation is tough. I wish with stuff like this all the facts are just laid out from the get go and not speculation this, speculation that, and just running with leaks.

Like Jeebs said, age wise this isn’t much different than some senior in HS dating one of the younger guys/girls who just moved up to HS.. which happens all the time. Not my thing, my wife is 1 year younger than me and she’s the youngest, relative to my age, I’ve ever dated.. but still it’s super common. And I know when I was in HS I was definitely shooting my shot with the girls I thought were fine when I was in Jr High who had at that point already graduated. That age gap never felt inappropriate in that sense.

Not saying any of it is legally fine, or hell even morally fine.. but I do know the people acting like this was some 40 year old teacher preying on some HS girl in his class are far off from the reality of this situation. Or even comparing him to all the Karl Malone stuff..

“Rumors” saying they met at a club.. most of which you would have to be 21+ or 18+ to even get into.. which makes me wonder if he even initially knew her age. He’s in a position with fame/money where you can’t mess up and not be more thorough (for lack of a better word) in vetting these situations.. but I know from first hand experience I’ve never went out to a club/bar and at any point been talking to a girl and felt the need to ask her age.. again if they are socially in the same environment he would assume she’s close to his age, and of age, he’s only 21.. this isn’t like one of us going to a bar and making sure the age gap isn’t creepy or something.

Someone else here mentioned if you’re in his position why not just go for the 19-21 year old college girls.. but if he actually met her at a club he might have assumed that’s what he was actually doing.. no idea how long all this continued, or at what point he knew her actual age, if he even did before it was all too late.

I guess her parents and her are refusing to work with authorities based on what Jeebs posted.. if you see how this leaked with the picture she took/posted then it makes sense to a degree.. whether or not consent was technically legal it was obvious there was consent based on her leaked snap pic. Whether all that is right or wrong, or legal, that’s a different topic but regardless if Giddey gets labeled as some sort of child predator over this I really feel for him. But as they saying goes “don’t be dumb” I guess.

In this situation though, what would the evidence be? They’d have to dig his DNA out of her that she’s not letting them check and likely isn’t there anyways. Unless I’ve missed something the only evidence is a selfie of the two of them where she said “just ****ed Josh Giddey”. Pretty obvious what happened to everyone, but as far as actual evidence/proof I’m not sure there is any.
