I don’t think there is anything wrong with being a good 6th or 7th man. Some All-Time greats have played that role. But I wouldn’t clap back at anybody calling him a starter either. There are worse starters out there. I was more so mocking all the trade rumors for him the past couple of years because they were treating him like some all-star guy that he’s nowhere close to being.

The Gabriel thing was more of joke. They got a similar build and play style outside of Grant being much better with the ball/scoring. But the Lakers were one of the teams that would have supposedly given up every asset they had left for him to come in and be a 4th/5th option. Meaning out of role alone they wouldn’t have gotten much more out of Grant than Gabriel because of usage and being virtually the same defender.

Ultimately he was traded for Gabriele Procida and a 2025 Bucks first round pick.. which is about what I thought he was worth back when people were acting like teams would actually give up something of high value to land him. Think the Bulls “rumors” were like Pat Williams, White, and a first or something? No chance they would consider that lol. Some rumors had multiple firsts.. he’s just not that guy. Internet rumors were treating him like a star.

Orlando is much better than their record. Cole Anthony is playing well out of the gates. I know I'm saying that after only 2 games.

Feel like they could be a sleeper team to be better than expected. They don’t really have a bad roster. Just need some of these young dudes to sorta break through all at the same time.

If Bol, Hampton, Bamba would make any strides at all they should be decent. Wagner, Paola, Cole, and Carter are solid young players. Still kinda waiting on Suggs to look like a top 5 pick.

Nah, but I'll take it cause the losses will be coming aplenty soon enough. Vassell, Johnson and (maybe) Jones might be something after all.

NBATV going off on the 76ers, LOL.

I need Josh Primo to not be *** and start making shots, though. He has been ice cold to start and I was already worried about his lack of explosiveness/athleticism. If homie can't shoot or even create a shot then I'm worried about his long - term outcome (and the front - office wasting a lottery pick on him).

0-3. Not time to hit panic button. But, most of this game they didn't show much energy. Spurs played like a cohesive unit and brought it all game. Too many offensive rebounds gave up by the Sixers. They need more time to gel, but so far this team doesn't look much different than last years even with the new players.

Orlando is going to be really good in the near future. I can't believe the Wendell trade still. Franz is my guy.

no AL clearly had an effect on the rebounding lol but Tatum is just so good. how about Derrick White now, trades in season can be so tough on guys I thought there was an adjustment period that he was going to be so much better with a full offseason at least on O. great game from him.
