Those of you with the NBA app.. can you not just open games to view the box score and stuff without it automatically trying to play the game?

Those of you with the NBA app.. can you not just open games to view the box score and stuff without it automatically trying to play the game?

I'm on Android. So it might be different. But yes you can look at box scores without watching the game. You have to use the PIP feature. If it's turned off. It won't keep playing the game.

My problem has been if I'm casting to my TV. And I play a video on another app. It paused the casting.

Want to check the box score but on this most recent update any time I click on a game to pull up the stats and what not it just starts automatically playing the game. I've been having problems with the android app recognizing location services. 70% of the time it says I don't have it on, the other times it works. Super annoying. Probably will just stick with the Sling version of it, even though they only have the version with commercials.
