Kinda random that Steve Blake probably had the best pro career from that team. Washington ended up with damn near that whole team on the Wizards for a bit [emoji23]. Along with Haywood and Jefferies, Kwame obviously, none of those dudes panned out.
Man I remember the Mountain Dew Cap! Ahh man those days were the best. I didn't even know it. My life was just hoops. And college basketball was everything back then.

I wish I could go back.

I remember when Maryland blew a 10 pt lead to Duke in literally a minute before the end of reg. Yep they pulled a McGrady. My hate for Duke was already at an all time high.

      I found the clip smh.

Juan Dixon was so nice. Thought he was gonna be a superstar in the NBA. I'm guessing injuries derailed him.

To this day that is my barometer for a safe lead and why I'm not comfortable with a 10 point lead and a minute remaining. We are talking long term trauma here.

The Duke-UMD rivalry was great, and it got really heated with JJ Reddick. He was already the most hated player in the NCAA, but the Terp fans took it to another level.

It wasn't injuries, Dixon was too small and lacked the athleticism to make up for it.

That Terp team doesn't get talked about enough as an all time great college team imo. Possibly due in part to no one going on to have significant NBA careers. But just for how they functioned at the college level, they were top shelf quality.

Would’ve been better off doing this sooner instead of with 23 games left.

At this point, I’m not even sure if he’ll even be back on the court. Seems like there’s been no progress on his knee since he first had his procedure.

It might be a Brandon Roy - type situation with his knee. That sucks if that's the case since the guy is only 25.

Setting aside the always present LeBron hype, are the Hawks this season's biggest disappointment? Murray was a huge get for them, and just two years ago they were in the ECF.

They are definitely headed in the wrong direction. They are not going to do it but I'd consider exploring Trae trades before he makes a trade request.

Last I heard he wasn't even able to run near full speed. I'm still thinking he attempts a return, but as a significantly diminished player. But this seems like a 35 year old getting injured kind of situation. One of those "do I rehab it in order to play at the risk of having issues later in life that affect my ability to enjoy a normal life" types of deals.

The Hawks have delayed the inevitable for months. They finally did it.

This latest procedure. Just pointing that out for you. This is knee procedure number 2 we’re on since he initially got hurt in January of last year.

If you poll followers of the NBA to ask who has been the most disappointing team this season how many would answer the Lakers just by virtue of it being LeBron's team.
