    - HS'ers don't have a very polished game (for the most part) and have to be coached more then the other players. If they went to college they'd get the coaching they need

    - finally, HS'ers are immature for the most part. They don't have the stamina or the willpower to go through the rigours of an NBA season without some kind of trouble whether it be personal or emotional.
Where do you get the idea that they have any more problems than the average nba players have? Just because they are out of high school it doesn't mean anything.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

HS'ers generally have never played out of state for lengthy period of time. They still have to have some kind of education as well. I remember when T-Mac was with the Raptors he still had to do some studies. The emotional toll of being on the road for half the year or more is hard on a typical NBA'er much less a teenager.

            1. Most time to refine your game.
            2. Learn to mature and grow
            3. You still getg to make your money in 2 or 3 years while you are parting away at school
What happens if they get injured while they're in school and never get to make that money? Most athletes who have a chance to go pro is only in college to get picked higher in the draft and make more money. Why should they wait if they can be a lottery pick? If they want to go to school later then they will be able to pay for themselves, if not then oh well it's their money. Once again, if gm's wouldn't draft them then there wouldn't be any examples for high school players to see. If you think that jonathon bender is bad then be mad at your gm for getting him, you can't be mad at him since he got his money. All the age limit does is bail out bad gm's.

                Lenny Cooke
                D'Angelo Collins
                Korleone Young
guys who made it but get little or no PT:
                Kendrick Perkins
                Travis Outlaw
                Ndudi Ebi
Daruis Miles (although I like him, what has he done so far)
Since when do they have to be superstars? They are still in the league so they have done well enough to get signed. As for the ones who aren't, they are rare. There's still lebron, kobe, tmac, kevin garnett, dirk nowitzki, peja stoyakovich, almost every european player in the league. The one's still in the league far outnumber the one's who aren't in the league anymore.

I don't think you can rightfully include the Euros in this debate. The culture there is completely different then the culture in North America. The Euro players are brought up from an early age to play basketball and the teaching of the game is based on the fundamentals moreso then the flash and pizazz that we see from HS'ers in NA. The Euros are collegiates in terms of a well rounded game compared to most HS'ers.

I dont care. I think you should be able to make money and get your chance to play if you can make it, but if it helps impove college and NBA play then thats good to.

So all in all Im gonna be happy no matter what happens............
