Bucks make a splash in FA.

Sign Gary Trent JR to a 1 yr vet minimum deal.

I actually think the Westbrook P-n-R with Joker could end up being pretty solid.

Who's setting the pick, cuz Jokic is 1000x better as a ball handler and distributer.

Raptors 2nd round draft pick Ulrich Comche reveals he was a farmer before being drafted. He only started playing basketball a few years ago! Imagine that, you're literally growing beans and other stuff, then you discover basketball and now you're in the NBA.

A huge difference from what he wanted. Raptors apparently were offering around 15m and he wanted over his 18m deal from last year. Now he's taking a vet min deal?

I’m sure both, and Russ eat some minutes when Joker sits. My biggest issue with Murray currently is when Joker sets the pick Murray has a tendency to take a few extra dribbles to seek out a shot rather than make the easy play. It’s fine when he’s hot, because in those spurts he just goes nuclear. But I think back to Russ playing with Kanter and just feel like he will find Joker in spots Murray doesn’t. To be fair I thought he would with AD as well and it just didn’t pan out how I imagined. League might have shifted a bit too much “let him shoot” at his point and his athleticism dipped just enough to make him less effective than he was. But I’m intrigued here still.

I also feel like Russ could add some value filling in some of those cutter gaps they lost when Bruce Brown left. That pairs best next to Joker and supposedly Joker wanted him. So he sees something there. To be fair so did Bron and AD.

In two years they’ve lost Brown, Green, KCP, and swapped them for Russ.. idk about that. Braun is solid, and Strawther looks promising but that stings. I also assume Russ is a bit of an insurance policy because Murray will inevitably miss 20+ games.

Kings previously dealt 2024 2nd round pick Shead, Davion, a 2025 2nd and Vezenkov to the Raptors for Jalen McDaniels.

Main reason appeared to be to get rid of Vezenkovs salary.

Raptors just bought him out and are on the hook for all of $0 while Vezenkov loses 6.6m in salary from the buyout.

Did the Raptors know something Kings didn't about the buyout and not having to pay it?

Sixers sign Reggie Jackson. I'm okay with the move. It gives the team another capable ball handler, passer, and scorer odd the bench. Hopefully, this allows Maxey to play less minutes in the regular season

Sixers a bigger need at PF though. They need someone who can rebound, hold up defensively against bigger athletic bodies, and at least space the floor.

Man, y'all or Milwaukee need to stop BS'ing and give my guy Dom Barlow a deal.

He doesn't have much range, but he ticks a lot of other boxes (young, nimble, athletic, can play the 4 or 5, etc) that both team's need. I'm kind of disappointed the Spurs picked the group of Collins, Mamukelashvili, and Bassey over him.

Denver gotta be hoping Strawther is ready. Win it all then lose Jeff Green, KCP, Reggie Jackson, Bruce Brown, only to add Westbrook?

They need their recent draft picks (Watson, Braun, Strawther, etc) to come along much faster.

They still have a regular roster spot open, so they could try to fill it with another 'buy-out'/waiver wire guy during the season.

They'll have their growing pains, but I still think their top 4 players is enough to get them back to the Finals. It'll be about match ups and if their younger guys take a big enough step forward.

This time last year Tyus Jones was viewed as one of the hotter trade commodities in the league. Then today he just signed a 1 year deal worth $3 mil. Crazy how things can change so quick

                              Joe Harris retired.

To think, just a few years ago Harris was one of the best 3pt shooters in basketball. Detroit last season ended his career.
