Portland looks awful. Can't believe I'm still watching this game. Scoot is entertaining. That's about it lol

Gary Trent Jr did a great job defending Maxie.

      Hoping Dame is back.

Update #2 from Chicago: Day 3 of the NBA regular season and we still can't watch Chicago Bulls games on television in Chicago

Trent JR has always seemed to guard Maxey well.

One negative I always seen with Maxey is the high degree of difficulty he takes shots. When he makes shots, it always feels like "Wow plays". You can't rely on "Wow Plays". At least he was willing to take floaters last night. But, he doesn't make it easy for himself and doesn't really have a smooth game. He's trying to go 100 mph driving to the rim and drawing fouls at the same time. Maxey doesn't have a good whistle. Refs aren't going to reward you if you seem reckless. I would like to see Maxey take more pull up mid range shots and continue to work on changing speeds. Maxey had to be aggressive last night and the next two games, but he was a black hole and missed a lot of playmaking opportunities

Yeah. Guess I’ll have to wait another season for a playoff run probably. Gonna be a rough year for Rip city. Thunder vs. Nuggets turning into a laugher.

They talked it up during the game the other night, but I think at least a small part of his shot selection was due to being physically weak. He's so difficult to stay in front of, but if you're able to sort of stay in front and give him a little bump he'd pretty much always settle for really difficult shots.

He looked physically stronger in the opener. Still took a lot of difficult shots, but that was to be expected with Embiid and George out. Feel like Maxey might look a bit more comfortable when those guys are back but we'll see.

The announcers also talked about how he needs to get a little better at slowing the game down though and that was still evident against Milwaukee.

He'll definitely look better with Embiid and George. I still think he's better when he has someone creating shots for him. He should thrive more on catch and shoot and playing off the ball. But, I do worry that Maxey will defer when all 3 are healthy. If any of the big 3 has to take a smaller offensive load, it should be Embiid.

He's does still play 100mph with his hair on fire. He needs to work on his changeup.

Even though this Raptors-Sixers game is "close', it just feels unwatchable . Just bad, sloppy, unorganized basketball from both sides.

It's easy to say that Embiid and George is out, but they will be in future games as well, they have to figure out how to win games without them. It seems like they don't know how to run sets

Embiid, PG, RJ, Quickley all out, that's definitely gonna hurt the quality of both teams.
